I haven’t got negative adjustments enabled. As most of my runs are in the morning I may try that thank you.

Ah thank you for that. It needs to start estimating I am very lazy other than my runs 😁. I’m now maintaining weight so will just be careful with the numbers. Appreciate your help.

In June I ran 3 miles everyday. This was to kickstart me a bit as for the previous 2 months I’d not run as much as I would have liked. A few runs were up to 5 miles. If your mileage isn’t too high I don’t see a problem. After all it’s only about 30 minutes. I was watching my heart rate at the same time and slowed my…

The turning point for me to enjoy my running rather than just been glad I’d done it was simply to slow down. After an injury I slowed down one day and enjoyed it so much more. Try it. Throw walks in if needed.

Ah that makes total sense. Thank you both very much. .5 sounds fine so I will adjust.

I've just got used to it. Still only have a few glasses a day. I too like lemon juice in it. Trying to stay off fizzy drinks. Feel better without them. Only have one now if out with friends or BBQ etc.

Thanks

Totally agree. They are dreadful to cut and peel it's taken me a few weeks to get the hang of it. I even had to watch you tube to know how. :)
-
Agree you need calorie deficit but running has also really helped my legs.

I always weigh before as I steam most things and think some veg keep more of the water.

I've been thinking of getting one but my worry is the amount of calories you could get through and I'm not sure if I would feel full up.

Bikes are used by majority for everyday things, going to work, school, activities etc. In the USA it's seen as recreation. The truth is we no longer burn calories in our daily lives. We now even eat calories back for walking. I'm not saying walking is bad it's great exercise but 30 years ago was not even thought of as…

That's why so many of us have a plate of veggies :) I personally weigh mine with scales before cooking.

Go for a good walk. That will give you one meal

Just a thought for future some supermarkets put the same coleslaw, cous cous etc in pre made packs. Might be worth looking next time and seeing if they have a barcode. Could use your phone app then and it Would give you some idea. I think Morrisons do this. Don't know why I never thought of that before myself.

It's about time they labelled stuff like the coleslaw with calories per 100g or something. At least then you could estimate more accurately. I think two boiled eggs are about 150 depending on size so I think your probably about right depending on the amount of coleslaw which is the killer. I loved Tescos finest Waldorf but…

Irish oats with skimmed milk. Little bit of honey and blueberries on top. Yummy.

Just try not to add drink calories just water or diet soda and I bet you will be fine with meals. Enjoy.

My typical day on 1200 would be oatmeal with fruit for breakfast, cheese sandwich for lunch and chicken with loads of veggies for tea. Worked out ok. I am also exercising and on days I do the extra 300 or so calories lets me enjoy treats such as ice cream. I'm now on 1330 as only wanting to lose half a pound and it feels a…

Have you tried banana on toast. You could just have one slice of bread and eaten with a knife and fork it may feel as good a meal. I drizzle a tiny bit of honey on. Delicious.

I believe in the UK we call flaxseed Linseed so it's the same thing. Heard this yesterday on one of those commercials fro nutribullets.

How you can get a plate full of veggies and the calories are good. It's when the potatoes and meat go on that it starts adding up.

I asked in a UK F&B's recently and they do not publish the calories or nutrition amounts at all. The only thing they have is a light menu but that seems to really just mean smaller portions. I noticed on that the salads still had dressings etc so it was a total guess. It's about time the big chains were made to state the…

Exactly as planned 9 pounds lost in 9 weeks. Now where I wanted to be. MFP worked exactly as it should. I've cut out all the rubbish but still usually have a little treat in an evening. Exercising more. Can't imagine going back now I am exercising more. I have recommended MFP to friends and will continue to log. It has…

I would guess active... You're on your feet all day. Yes you don't walk but the lifting bending etc must count..
-
Very brisk to me would be walking when you think you might be late for the bus stop. Your heart would be pumping. It would feel like exercise. Brisk might be walking the dog but you don't have too long.. Moderate would be normal pace Leisure would be walking in the sunshine taking in your surroundings not bothered how long…

Dinner Pork with a Lloyd Grossman apple in a cream sauce. Lots of veg and tried sweet potato for the first time to replace roast potatoes.

Same breakfast everyday since starting on here. Oats with a little honey. Before that I often skipped. I now find I need it. The only day that's different is occasionally on the weekend when I sometimes have a bacon sandwich. :) My lunch is nearly always the same as well. A cheese sandwich with pickle. Dinner varies most…

My partner struggles and taking a probiotic seems to help a little. Worth a try. Will have to look into charcoal. Never heard of taking that before.
