1234USMC Thats pretty awsome that you were able to reduce your A1C to those levels with diet and exercise. I have been on a 2 a day 500 MG dose for 8 months now with no ill effects. I still have some carbs here or there but with the metformin I have keep it in check.

First don't be scared. That will raise you stress level and your blood sugars. Kidding. I wish there was an app that could integrate the MFP data with BG data to give an overall. MFP is so good at tracking food and nutrients having that timestamped with the BG data would give me abd my Doctor a good view of how and what foods affect my BG and effectivness of treatments and management.
