  • She's an awesome fellow nerd!
  • I know but I am not. Kinda getting upset about it, and reaching out to see what others have done to break their plateaus.
  • I want to know what I need to do to break this plateau and continue losing lol
  • When I first picked out my recipes, I weighed and logged everything. Now that I got used to making them, I don't weigh them anymore. The meats I buy I still weigh BEFORE I freeze them, into 4 oz packs. All the recipes are the same, the amount of everything I use is the same. Nothing has changed in my diet in over 6 weeks…
  • I was very accurate when I was logging. For example, I have ketchup with my eggs, and I log it, and so on and so on. Like I said, I keep track of it in person now rather than the app, but I stay around the 1200 mark daily.
  • I was logging for a while so I can get a feel of where I was with what I was eating. I am usually at about 900 - 1200 calories a day intake now. Have been for about 6 weeks.
  • @RobertCotton I get that, which is why I think once I get in better shape I may need to change gyms, as it seems "that" type of lifting is going to be the most beneficial in what I am after.
  • @kcerrillo thank you very much!
  • @jesusarolon I do mean 400 to 1000 calories before my workout (I don't log my workouts yet, but will start logging calories burned soon with a good tracker if I get one). Today I bought almonds, I already include whole wheat pasta when I use pasta. Greek yogurt is a must! Love it when I mix with fruits. I can change the…
  • Not the type of lifting she says I need to do.
  • I am doing really well tracking my food intake. Thing is with the changes I made, eating 5 times a day, nice wonderful healthy things, I get FULL, FAST. I know that is the point but I just can't eat it all! At the end of each day, my goal is 1680, but I still end up with about 1000 unspent calories and MFP yelling at me.…
  • This is the OP, all you guys have AMAZING transformations, but my question is HOW. What did you do, from start to finish? I need to know what I am doing! I know the information is out there, but if I get that info from REAL PEOPLE who are doing it, I would feel much better.
  • That worked, thank you very much!
  • I could care less for a social one, but it does have to be at least moisture resistant for sweat and hand washing. As for smart watch options, no. My cell phone is all I need for cell phone notifications.
  • I hope so! I uploaded a pic just now of me on my start date. I DESPISE looking at it, but that is what I hope will help to keep me going. As for the food, I will find that niche sooner or later haha. As long as I stay under, and don't over do it on bad fats I figure I am good for now.
  • I am enjoying what I am eating though. I could eat raw fruits and veggies all day if I could. I do agree I have to add some nuts into the mix. And as for sweets I actually hate them, I ate them because of feelings and they were there and such. I am more of an "I want chinese, I will order $50 of that *kitten* tonight and…
  • I am retired, so I am home all day except when I am out at the gym. I try to STAY out once I am done, but I am a single father raising an Autistic 6 year old boy! So I have to be home before 14:45 5 days a week to get him off the bus! Once he is home I have no real set schedule. I do keep up with my snacking though, the 2…
  • Yea next week I will start adding nuts into the equation. I changed out olive oil for coconut oil for now. I deff. can eat slower though :)
  • Thank you to everyone for your help and advice! I may "cut" oatmeal from the breakfast, and tack it on to my first snack. That way I am still eating the same at the very least, but not as much in the morning(?). I really am not counting anything, I do want to make that clear. I use MFP as just a tracker to see what I am…
  • Yea I basically cut out butter. I really only used it to cook. I changed over to coconut oil for a non-stick surface when cooking, but my egg pan is really good without. I was thinking maybe remove the eggs, and add a shake? The oatmeal is really the only carbs I get. I cut out breads, and potatoes are something for dinner…
  • What would be better? I am open to all suggestion as I am still new at this.
