YAYYYY!! That's awesome!!

I'm happy for that one chick who's been successful since coming off of the pills but how do people know there aren't going to be any heart issues down the line? The thought of that terrifies me enough to keep me away! And my favorite- if it worked so well why are there so many overweight people still?
-
No because unfortunately people hear/read what they want instead of what is actually being said/typed.
-
Restricting myself for long enough to the point I lose control and binge. Having an "all or nothing" attitude.
-
Seriously? I wouldn't say a single word against CICO on MFP because it's what works.
-
A BIG PLUS ONE
-
Best purchase I ever made! Seriously!
-
I don't know if this was your intention or not but skinny does not equal healthy.

Patience is super important when you're short. Being so little and not having much to lose in the first place is going to make weight loss very slow. I'd set MFP to lose at the rate of .5 lbs and go from there. But I think the most important thing is going to be patience.
-
I understand!! It's so easy to put on the weight but also - really it's quite easy to take it off just have to practice patience and make sure you're sticking to a deficit! I definitely think you've been given some good advice in this thread- Since I'm so short I had to play around with MFP and find out what works best for…

That's what I thought would happen as we're pretty much exactly the same and that's what I get at .5 lbs per week. This is what I keep it at, we're small. Slow and steady wins the race!
-
Hm that's really odd it gives you 1200 for all. I'm almost exactly the same stats as you I'm 5'2, 29, and weigh 139. When I put in a weight loss rate of 1 lb or 2 lbs it gives me 1200 but when I do .5 lbs it gives me 1400 and this is all at sedentary since I have a desk job.
-
That seems awfully low! I'm allotted 1200 per day if I'm not exercising but I'm 29, 5'2", and I weigh 139.
-
No problem! @StaciMarie1974 posted some very great advice above :)
-
Well it depends on the amount of calories you're allotted for the day, you go by the package that will tell you what a serving size equals in calories. I'm not sure where you are but in the US majority of food packages will tell you the calorie amount in grams, which is the unit I use to weigh my food. Once you weigh out a…

If you're eating way less than that then I doubt you're building muscle, I'm sorry. Start using the food scale for EVERYTHING that goes in your mouth. I'd give it a few weeks and then report back if you're 100% sure you're logging accurately.

I haven't had any alcohol in 14 months. When I stopped drinking I found that my skin was clearer and brighter, my hair shinier, my face and hands weren't as bloated, and my eyes were much clearer and I looked more alive! I kept going and here I am! Every time I get the urge to have a drink (any drink with calories) I think…

So you haven't lost any weight since December? If you are 100% you are using a food scaled to weigh everything that goes in your mouth and you haven't lost any weight in three months then my advice would be to see a doctor but I bet you're eating more than you think.
-
Can you explain this statement please? I'm super confused.
-
. Whoops didn't realize this was an older thread.
-
I have the Fitbit Charge HR. I love it. It's amazing to see how many steps you actually get in a day. I bet it's probably less than what you would guess!
-
I'm 5'2, 29 years old, 139 and a size 6/8. Goal is to be 115-120 and I'm typically a size 2/4 at that weight.
-
I would make sure you are weighing the creamer, unless it's a diet creamer, as those can be high calorie.
-
I've had the Jawbone UP and now I have the Fitbit HR Charge. I definitely think the jawbone's data was much better and more accurate than the fitbit but since I have a billion friends with fitbits to do challenges with and none with jawbones- I stick with fitbit.
-
I will be the unpopular person here and say if you can fit pop into your calorie allotment for the day then go for it. If coffee is easier for you to fit into your daily calories then I would try that. I don't think large amounts of pop is good for a person but if you want to have one and can fit it in then do it. I am not…

I'm 5'2.5" and I'm 139 currently. I feel my best between 115 and 120 lbs. How do you feel? What are the lowest and highest weights you have been?
-
I'd say you answered your own question. If your butt isn't fat and it's curvy and toned and you're doing squats..well makes sense to me. I guess I'm wondering what you're asking since you say you're already pretty toned and in shape?..So..??

YES! This makes life SO much easier!

Month away from 30..I still clicked :'(
