You can understand food all you want but without counting calories you very well could be overeating.

This isn't weird at all! There are peanut butter filled pretzels at most stores

Starts the slow clap...

This. OP, the less you have to lose the slower it's going to be and the tighter on weighing and logging everything you eat will be more important. You've already lost 1.5 in two weeks and with wanting to lose 4-5 lbs that's a fantastic rate of loss.
-
I normally don't show a loss for 3-4 weeks at a time. Maybe you shouldn't weigh yourself everyday or even every week. It's not always going to be well I ate exactly X in deficit this week so therefore I should lose exactly x amount of weight.
-
It's probably not all caused by sweets and pop if you're not eating and drinking them super often. I eat sweets all the time and drink 2 pops a day and have never had a cavity in my life. I'm 30.
-
My thoughts exactly. And you said you weren't expecting it to melt off. A pound a week is fantastic.
-
He's bought into all the woo out there unfortunately.
-
I'd ride it out and keep doing what you're doing, I don't see a loss sometimes anywhere from 4 weeks to 6 weeks.

Calorie deficit for weight loss, exercise for health. Exercise is good for your heart! Also, your muscles are sore not from building more but from using them. Usually when you're sore you know you probably haven't worked that particular muscle in a good while. Eventually you'll stop being sore when those muscles get used…

BAHAHAHAHA

I'm always going to track my food, makes life so much easier for me.
-
I don't avoid any of those foods. If I want it I make it fit.
-
Send it to me please!!! I'll eat it!!
-
You can eat at 1300 for a couple days, weeks even but eventually I bet you'll binge at some point. I'm 29, 5'2" and I'm losing on 1400 for .5 lbs per week and that's not including the calories I eat back after exercise. I'm sure you want to lose as quickly as you can but its not healthy for you and it had to be miserable.…

I don't understand why people want to label it? As it's been said many times previously regardless of the "labeled" diet you're doing it comes back to counting calories. Even if I did south beach, or Atkins, or LCHF, I would still log and count calories! I would hate not knowing everyday if I went over my deficit or not.
-
Um yes, please eat more.
-
Fitting back into my clothes properly!!
-
I'm lucky I guess, I really could care less about comments people make to me about my eating habits. I eat how I eat and that's all there is.
-
I'm the oddball out I guess, I'd never choose fruit over candy, cookies, cakes...sorry

Diet Dr Pepper FTW!!!! :p

You're arguing with science. @Francl27 knows how to lose weight and has done so. It's the amount of calories in vs the amount of calories out that will aid in weight loss. You CANNOT eat any amount of "clean" or "healthy" food you want and still lose weight, you will still gain if you eat above your maintenance level no…

Good idea!! <3

I confess my 30th birthday is in 12 days; and I'm dreading it even though everyone says your 30s are the best time in your life, I'm still not ready for it to happen!!! :'( :s
-
No not at all. I have some weeks where I won't lose a thing, seriously 2 to 3 weeks in a row with the ounces going up and down. Then week 4 or 5 I'm down by a pound or two. The less you have to lose it seems the more up and down and inconsistent it becomes.

I've never taken a laxative for weightloss, only when my stomach hurts so bad and I had to have relief. I've used this before and it definitely will help ease pain and help you go.
-
I love you.
-
Nope. Won't hurt/hinder weight loss at all.
-
No, because for me, it's absolutely pointless. I just eat at a calorie deficit! And save money ;)
-
Stop taking pills, they're not doing you any good!
