3.8, or so says Tracks. I shall miss it when it goes down in April.

OK. Thanks.

RPM is a great class.

I am not trying to be difficult, but I am not sure why your class should take priority for gym floor kit over individuals who have also paid their dues - unless it is well signposted that parts of the gym floor effectively become a studio at certain times.

I bought a skirt I really like when I hit a UK 12, because it was the lowest I had ever been and I thought I could go no lower. Now I am a 10 but I REALLY like that skirt. The line is now discontinued, so I can't rebuy in a 10. I think I will keep on wearing it till it falls off me, just with tops that cover the gapping…

I agree with rabbit. I only see mine for 30 mins a week, but I practise the stuff he shows me during the week. It gives me variety and keeps me accountable.

I met a colleague I haven't seen for a while who hugged me and said, "Carnhot, what happened to the other half of you?" It was said in a good way, with no snark, so it made me happy.

It takes much more hot water to fill the bath to a reasonable height now I am displacing so much less of it. Bonier legs are harder to shave.

I bought 2 pairsof UK 10 shorts from Crew online and though I can do them up, they are a bit snug! My goal is to tighten up enougha0 around the hips and tum to wear them on my holiday to Canada this Summer, and wow the family who last saw me when I was a 16.

This is what my family did on Boxing Day. Usually we have pasties for Christmas dinner on the Purbeck hills, but this year the weather wouldn't play.

Absolutely not the norm; a proper pasty is the food of the gods.

Yes, 1200 was tough. Take heart; it doesn't last forever.

Thanks all. I am having friends round for supper tonight and am planning to consume enough to make up for several days' under eating :)

Common misconception...they are actually different but both make great mash with carrots You're a bit aggressive but I'll bite. Neither turnips nor swedes, which are entirely different vegetables, are orange. Maybe you should have that lie down. Aggressive? Really? I know they are different. Turnips are orange fleshed,…

That's carrot and swede mash FYI.
Turnip. The orange stuff is turnip- what the non Cornish call swede.
-
NO. NO, NO, NO! This is wrong on almost every level. I need a lie down!

Pasties are a national favourite and, to me, Cornish pasties are the pinnacle. Traditionally eaten by miners, they have meat, potato, carrot, swede and onion. Pastry is usually crimped on the top and thicker at the ends to give the workmen something to hold onto without getting the rest of the pastie dirty. Nom.
…

Weekdays, Actimel yoghurt drink and a Belvita softbake breakfast bar, then a cup of tea when I get to work. Weekends, variable, depending on what time I get up. Today, a delicious bowl of Bircher muesli at my favourite independent coffee shop, and a latte.

Fanny = butt, bottom, bum, toushy, @ss
No, not here it doesn't!
-
"Fanny" means something different in the UK! I take it we are not talking S&M pornography? (I have just drunk a bottle of 7% proof cider, so may not be posting with appropriate judgement, though I am checking hard for spelling and punctuation; "judgement" DOES need that middle "e", regardless of what spell check says.)

I am 5'7" and have lost 28 k since March. I do have some loose skin, on my stomach, thighs and arms, but none of it is noticeable in Winter clothing and I'm not a bikini wearer so it's just Summer arms to consider. I am now doing weight and resistance work to deal with this, but I accept that some loose skin may be the…

I see a trainer once a week and practise the stuff we do in between, as well as cardio. Aworks for me.
-
TK Maxx for me.

Grrrr! I was mindblowingly virtuous, with both CI and CO, yet still seem to have gained 4lb. It cannot be. I'm sulking :(
-
I enter it in this way, but I don't trust or count it except in terms of helping me meet my time goals.
-
I am taking all this on board. Thanks to all contributors.

Agreed. No point in life without joy, and comestibles are a source of joy. The gym is seeing a lot of me at the moment, given the weather here, to work it off.
-
I broke. 4 pounds up, and I still have Sunday lunch with old uni friends to go. It can't be fat, though; I have been very controlled.

Yoghurt raisins. Love them, but have to hide them from myself.

Everyone seems to be saying water retention through sodium and carbs. Hoping so.
