I actually walked & ran 2 miles yesterday. I'd sprint/jog/run a block then I'd walk a block. This is an honest to god first in my life.

Two or three times a week depending on how many times I hit the gym where the scale I use is.

I'd avoided actually having to tie my shoes for years because of this... Now I slip them on only because I'm lazy. :)

Big box of 24 donuts (all kinds) arrived the other day... Didn't touch them.. Very out of character for me.

PB2 isn't bad... Some local stores carry this, but it isn't cheap. Walden Farms 0 calorie peanut butter was horrible.

Add me.. I'm 44 as well and started at 323lbs. I'm down to 260 and understand the issues of knee and ankle pain related to weight and working out. Try to hit lower impact cardio when possible.

Before Picture.... Today... As of today.. (Since October) I've lost 61lbs. (Tracked 51 with MFP) I'm stronger than I've ever been in my life, and feel like someone has given me a new body. Can't "weight" to see what the next half of my goal brings!

I keep a printed, full page copy of my "before" picture in my workout sheets. When I start "not feeling it.", I flip to that page, then get back to work.

My gym as ONE shower. Putting your bag in the shower stall DOES NOT hold your shower place. Grrrrr!

It's frustrating, but 3lbs could easily be water weight, or muscle gains.. Even the stuff in your colon will add to the scale a times. Don't allow yourself to get discouraged, keep working and measure again in a couple weeks. If you are eating right, you'll probably see a big loss then.

Eat time I go to the gym, but I only seriously take my first measure of the week as my number. Usually on Monday mid-morning.

Yes, two pounds a week, (and even a little more) is possible here. Do youself a favor and look at this as a life change, not just a 177 day change. Otherwise it's all together possible that you'll put the weight back on after your trip. I'm on a similar journey of at 44lbs of 101lbs. I'm only 96 days in. Add me. Jeff
