I quit smoking and need to do something with my free time now.

at 17k steps I got 1100 exercise calories + my 1200. so 2300 total. I ate 1525 so still had 792 remaining. I am 170lbs 5'2

I wouldn't consider 18k steps a day as lightly active, I'd say at the very least moderately active. Sedentary and light active would be closer to 5k per day or certainly under 10k

Motivation will not get you any where because motivation comes and goes DEDICATION is what will get you progress.

5'2 HW 186 CW 170 GW 130ish. not a success story yet, a few years ago I did lose 50lbs or so and then gained a lot of that back. Such a shame. So here I am again. Been at it for 2 weeks now and down 4 lbs. Doing cardio 3 days a week and just started strength training 3 days a week. I also make sure I get my 10k steps…

I'm at day 12! Haven't lost any weight despite tracking my calories and increasing my time at the gym but I am finding myself pretty bloated

I know I'm late to the game but I lost 60lbs while still eating pizza, chicken fingers and McDonalds. It was strictly calories in/out for me and it worked. =)

I've done insanity twice now and started again yesterday. It's been a few years since I did it last so I'm a little nervous for sure, but I've had amazing results with insanity when I did it before.
