I eat more on the weekends but I also save some calories throughout the week to enjoy my kaluha and milk, and some Doritos without feeling like I've ruined my progress.

You looks amazing at 170lbs which is quite a bit for your height, must have had a lot of muscle!
-
2lbs a week is very reasonable for you and I think you'll see much more than this honestly. Initially anyways. Reassess in 100lbs. What has worked for me were small goals at first, 5 lb increments. I'm on 13 lbs now.
-
I eat some of them but I more or less use it as a bank for the weekend.

Part of my problem is that i didn't realize how tight my clothes were, I am down 18lbs and just noticing SOME of my jeans getting baggier...not enough to need smaller ones. =( Probably another 20lbs or so because I'm still 30-40lbs over weight.

she isn't gaining muscle eating 1300 calories a day.

I go to the gym to relieve stress and get some me time.

what is the sense in having them linked? the whole purpose is to get the exercise calories, just unlink it

1. Get a new doctor. This one is unprofessional. 2. 140 is still a bit high for 5'1 depending on how much body fat you're carrying, some very athletic women can easily be "overweight" according to a BMI chart yet have very little body fat so don't focus so much on the number on the scale. 3. you probably don't need to get…

I eat pizza once a week, at least 1 or 2 meals contain french fries. I eat hostesss apple pies once a day for a treat (100 calorie size) I eat my normal "bad" American diet, just less of it.

My friend is down 40lbs on WW and loves it, so I signed up for 2 months, I think I actually tracked about 2 weeks and said screw this and stopped tracking, the following month I cancelled it and came back to MFP. I can't stand not knowing how many calories I've eaten. You could eat way too much or way too little on WW and…

I'm struggling with how long the process takes. I am so unhappy with my body and so committed and motivated this time and have been so consistent the last 2 months I feel like I should be skinny already, but I'm a good 40 lbs from that. I have lost 7lbs in 2 months, its like watching paint dry.

I also like zeroaide, the blue one tastes like blue koolaid, zero calories but has some sodium

my calorie allotment for the day is about 1500-1700. I dont snack at home, but sitting at a desk all day is what gets me. I use to eat my lunch very early too, then buy junk to get me through the afternoon. Now I pack a bunch of 100 calorie snacks, even my breakfast is only 100 calories (granola bar) then I eat a bunch of…

I love mine! I dont eat back all my exercise calories because for me it seems to over estimate it as well, I should be losing way more than I am if I use those numbers and what I'm eating but I think its reasonably accurate.
-
I walk! I also do cardio on the elliptical and do strength training but most of my calorie burns are from walking 20k steps a day
-
I use to barely get 5k a day, then I quit smoking and now get 15-20k a day. I park pretty far away from my office door, I walk on my lunch then eat at my desk, I walk my dogs every night, housework, on non gym days I walk for a half hour on our bike path etc.
-
started at 173 now 164, 2 months, 40 more pounds to go at this rate I expect it to take a year.
-
I'd turn it around and embarrass them "why are you so obsessed with my butt??"
-
I quit smoking April 4th! lost 10lbs so far. I eat about 1500 calories a day, sometimes bmore.
-
I do walk on my lunch but if its raining or -20 out I stand at my desk and set a 5 min timer, I can easily get 500 steps every hour doing this and can still answer the phone, watch my email etc. I walk to the back of the office and back to my desk several times a day, (walk to your back door or something) how many hours a…
-
I dont, too difficult to figure out my burn. I just let my fitbit add what it wants considering my heart rate is slightly increased while doing it it does add more than my BMR.

I started April 4, the first couple weeks the scale basically went up and down, I didn't see real progress until this month. I am now down 10lbs in 7 weeks which is great. I like the app Happy Scale, its free and really helps make the weight fluctuations not as frustrating. Hang in there, trust the process...for what its…

I usually pick one day a week to eat my maintenance calories, whenever I do this I find I have a whoosh on the scale shortly after. I dont know why but its pretty consistent when I do. I dont call it a cheat day or meal though, I just call it a break from my deficit.
-
your activity level is probably not set right.
-
I have mine set at lightly active goal is .5 a week, I'm 5'2 164lbs, I walk 15k-20k a day and earn about 800 more calories a day Example base calories on MFP 1460 walked 18k steps earned 1080 more calories, banking some for the weekend so I ate about 1700
-
Sounds like your activity level on MFP is way off. What do you have it set at and about how many steps do you get a day?
-
I'm in. I'm down about 7 pounds in the last 7/8 weeks. So it's moving slowly, but its moving. I'm 166, my ultimate goal is about 35lbs but I'm in for 25 now. My goals are 5lbs at a time. I consistently get 15-20k steps a day cardio 2 days a week (changing it to three days a week starting today) Strength training 2 days a…
