Today is week 5 day 2 and planning on going outside for the first time this year....finally nice enough for me to get outside a few times a week instead of being in the treadmill. Actually looking forward to it instead of being scared of out my mind at the thought of going 8 minutes straight 2 times!

Thanks for the responses. I know changes are happening because there are improvements. I always weigh and measure all my food right down to creamers so that's not an issue but thanks for the reminder. It's just sometimes I put too much importance to that one particular number and need to complain to people who understand…

Thanks for the replies! I'm going to keep going at the pace I'm and finish out the program.

Congrats! That is awesome. I'm ramping up for week 5 day 2 tomorrow.

Thank you for the responses and for the motivation to keep going! I'm rather slow at this point but my goal is to be able to jog the whole 30 minutes....if I'm slow so what. Once I'm jogging consistently I can work on speed.

I'm so sorry you hate your job! Mean coworkers are the worst. My current issues are vendors with insanely bad customer service and our purchasing dept is the pits...makes for an awful buying experience....and purchasing is a large portion of my job. I'm planning 6 workouts and to keep a reasonable calorie deficit. Also, on top of my regular workouts I'm aiming for 10,000 steps a day.

Ugh I hear ya with the snow! I'm in nj and it's been an awful winter. it's so unmotivating and depressing. Just start doing something. After 10 minutes you'll just keep going...at least it works for me. And having everyone here helps too...You got this!

I just got the charge HR last night and I'm already loving it. According to this I'm burning more than I thought I was so I will base my calories on this for a month and see what happens. Overall I think it will keep me more motivated because I can see how much or little I'm doing.

I'm doing couch 2 5k right now and to keep myself motivated I'm signed up for 1 5k a month. Did the first one on Valentine's Day. Goal is to improve my time with each race.

I'm in the process of doing c25k again. Stopped running for a while and starting over. To keep myself motivated I've signed up for a 5k a month. As long as I improve my time with every race I'm happy.

I think you are an amazingly strong woman. I was a single mom for 5 years until I met my fiancé and I can totally understand your fear. However, you are doing it! Everyday you are putting your kids and yourself in a better position to be healthier emotionally and physically. In terms of getting everything done...make a…
