I believe it's based on personal preferences! I would make your initial goal the higher end of the healthy BMI range, and once you are getting close to that n umber, take a look at yourself and try to decide if you need to readjust that number! I started at 249 lbs. My weight loss goal is 149 lbs. I am currently 161 lbs…

I don't necessarily have the water weight issue ( that I can tell ), but I do what to eat everything in the house right before my period and when I am ovulating! It is so frustrating! I want all the salty foods.

After having babies is as good of a time to start losing weight as any! I weighed 198lbs when I got pregnant with my daughter (now 15 mo.). I weighed 249lbs when she was born. I currently weight 161 lbs. I started 6 wks pp after my CSection!

I did WW about three years ago. I really think it is a personal preference. I prefer CC because its free and calories are displayed on pretty much all foods and WW points aren't. I will say, though, that my mother lost over 100 lbs with WW. It made it easier for her! I also liked the 0 point fruits and veggies rule.

I TOTALLY agree. Anything is possible if you want it bad enough. My start weight was 249 and I am now 163. 14 pounds to go. I never thought I would make it this far! Just take it one pound at a time.

Oh man, pop tarts were one of the foods I grew up on! My favorite were the cinnamon sugar ones! I live in the states and they still sell them here. I also love the s'mores flavored ones with the chocolate and marshmallow filling. Sadly, they are now on my list of "avoid them like the plague" foods. :/

I had buffalo cauliflower with light ranch and a grilled chicken breast for lunch! My diary is public if you'd like to add me!

I'll be 24 on Sunday, I am 5'6 and I have lost 85 lbs of my 100 lbs weight loss goal. I started March of 2015. Feel free to add me! I log in every day and my food journal is public!

Plus I was TIRED of not feeling comfortable in anything I wore. I was TIRED of looking awful in every picture. I was so uncomfortable and unhappy.

I figured that if I couldn't lose the weight after having a baby, that I never would. I tried to start losing weight before I even got pregnant and then gained an additional 50 lbs on top of that. Once I was cleared for exercise I started MFP and working out three times per week. That was March of last year and I am down…

All you can do is take it one week, one day, and one meal at a time. It's hard in the beginning. Every day you make better choices gets easier. I am here to tell you that sticking with it, even when you don't want to, is SO WORTH IT. You will start to feel more comfortable and every day life becomes easier. I am here for…

" Are you sure you have any more weight to lose?!" " Whats your secret?" And when I say I have counted my calories and done moderate exercise for over a year now, they do that "eyes glazing over" thing previously talked about.

You are welcome! And thank you!!

Thank you! I relied mainly on a better diet to lose my weight! I am tired frequently because I have a toddler, so I'm not always up for working out. I try to get in physical activity when I can, but it doesn't always happen! The most important part is what goes in your body!
