I'm 5'10. Started at 234lbs and am now 155. The muffin top will go away eventually, I think mine went away when I was about 70lbs down. And losing slowly and staying hydrated will help with the loose skin. Also, not sure of your age, but being younger helps as well.

I sent you a friend request :)

Yeah just drink lots of water and see what happens. Give it a few days. Really anything can make you feel bigger or bloated. I have a bit of an upset stomach right now and I feel like I gained 5 pounds over night :( I generally eat a pretty low sodium diet too so if I ever increase my salt intake I get massive water…
-
Lol I was wondering the same thing...

I find now that I am smaller, I get bloated and feel "bigger" very easily. Even after one bad meal I feel like I've gained 10lbs. I find if I up my water intake the bloat usually goes away and I feel back to normal within a few days.

Yeah but this doesn't sound like a glass of wine or drink with dinner this sounds like going to the bar or club every night for "Thristy Thursdays" and things like that... Just my perception of the original post although I could definitely be wrong.

I'm 5'10 and my original goal was 160. Once I got there I changed it to 150. I'm at 155 now so almost there!
-
Uhh I mean this in the nicest way possible, but health factors aside; don't you think that there is something wrong with drinking everyday to begin with? :/ just saying....
-
I am also looking into a breast lift after losing 79lbs. Have you had kids yet? I haven't had any and everyone is saying I should wait to do the lift until I'm done having kids. I'm only 26 though and the state of the girls makes me very sad! Lol Oh and incredible loss!!! Congrats!

I started at 234 and am now 155. The only problem areas are my boobs and a tiny bit under my arms. Being young and losing slowly helps.

I think it depends on the person, since everyone requires different amounts of sleep. I know for me, if I haven't slept well or had a very short sleep (4 or 5 hours) before a weigh in, I usually see it reflected on the scale. I do also find that I tend to be a bit hungrier when I am really tired.
-
I weigh in once a week or once very two weeks (depending on work schedule). I tryyyy really hard not to weigh myself everyday because the fluctuations really get to me.
-
That's good motivation!!! It something I've always been self conscious about. Would be nice to have that are nice and smooth instead of a big lump of fat lol
-
Sounds like I'm not the only one who is bothered by it!!! Up until right now I always assumed it was fat that could be targeted with weight lifting. I am so disappointed lol
-
Uh yeah that lovely stuff! Aww that sucks!!! Oh well, guess I will need to start tucking it in lol. Thanks for the responses!
-
Lol!!!!
-
@flumi_f, how was the breast lift? I've been considering it.
-
Ahh young love <3 I don't miss it lol
-
Yep, it's all I use. And I like to walk outside

I've lost 77.4lbs and I live mostly on carbs. I pretty much eat whatever I want as long as it fits in my calories.
-
I sit a lot at work too. I just eat the appropriate number of calories for my daily activity level. I also force myself to do as much physical activity after work as possible.
-
I have had scale fear many times in my life. I guess the best advice is to just do it. Knowing you are getting back on track might make it easier. Good luck <3
-
Just eat at a deficit. I don't spend a lot of money on food, I buy what I can and say within my calories. And not to sound mean, but forget about what your friends are doing. This is about YOU, not them.
-
You can all do it!!! I am down over 77lbs. You just have to stick with it :)
-
If you aren't hungry but want to bump up your calories, what about a glass of chocolate milk or something like that?
-
Morning, nekkid, after peeing
-
77.4lbs :)
-
50 :) Ps you are gorgeous!!!!

Hi I'm a bit taller...5'10. I started at 234.2 now 156.8. My goal for my height is 150-145. I think 145-135 would be a good range for your height!
-
This is exactly what I do. I still get to have my meal out and stay in a deficit
