Thanks guys, I've been browsing and expanding my lc recipe repertoire

Nice to meet you :)

I'm open, track pretty much most things, but as I'm in the UK, all my brands are English

Top marks here, I left the chocolate eggs quite easily but nearly gave in to the warm hot cross buns I was helping to serve and prepare at church. Just stopped myself at the last minute..

Have a blessed Easter, Christ is risen!

An amazing post, I have tended to treat my diabetes very casually, not focusing on complications. But this is me and my life, I am worth more than a sneaky nibble of something carb laden and bad for me.

we're already friends @aishlynn but happy to add more friends if anyone else wants to add me. I'm type 2 diabetic

Hello, nice to meet you :)

I'm less than 20 carbs too, would love more friends, esp ones from the uk, but anyone welcome.

Great results!

Thanks, that's interesting

I snack on Brazil nuts , they're quite cheap at the market and work out quite lowish carb wise.
-
I'm up for more lc friends too. Especially (but not only) Uk friends .

No idea why my tablet decided to add 2 biscuits ( probably a custard cream and a Jaffa cake) guess it knows me too well..

Totally empathise! I dream I'm eating cake and biscuitsbiscuits and feel so guilty when I wake up till I realise its just a dream.

After the horrid cramps last night I popped across the road at work today. And went to Morrisons. They had no magnesium citrate but I did get some calcium, magnesium and vit D tabs which will have to do until I can go to Holland and Barratt Or some where like that. Each dose has 300mg as magnesium hydroxide. 800mg calcium…

Guess why I'm awake at 1 in the morning? Aaagghh my left calf.....!

I love all these! I'm full of energy, yet sleeping better. Woohoo! Every day I eat to plan my self belief in myself grows. I'm gonna be invincible soon!

Another person with lack of planning and lack of will power. I was as one point 2lbs away from a BMI of just over weight starting at morbidly obese, then I went out, had fries and boom! that was it. Now I'm morbidly obese again (though I don't take too much stock of BMI. What I need to keep on track are friends, and…

Great results! Just goes to show this actually works!

That's what I do too! I preface most things I can't scan a barcode for with either asda or tesco. Then save in favs. A lot of entries to the data base by the cico lot don't even bother adding carbs, or anything apart from calories.

My hubby is the same with lc cooking. He thinks he knows the theory that I use but really he doesn't. Take last night, I usually buy Asda sausages, less than 2 carbs per 100g, he surprised me with sausages sauted peppers and mushrooms for dinner last night. Only problem was they were the wrong sausages. Almost 2 carbs per…

Brilliant news!

Type 2 here, have been for about 8 years. When I first found out I followed Atkins and managed to control my diet and get taken off my DR's diabetic register. Then things slipped, I stopped low carving properly, would do a week or so then cheat (OK, consciously decide not to low carb). Now im on metformin since last…

Thanks DittoDan! They look fab!

I've been reading about fat bombs and I'm looking for a recipe without coconut oil as I'm allergic. Could I just use all butter? Thanks
