Hello again. I started my journey in July of this year. I made small changes to my diet by adding fruits and veggies instead of restricting myself from the things I enjoyed. In the past I had always succumbed to my desire for poor food choices when I knew I was trying to limit them, so I attempted a different approach by…

Yeah I'm in. I was wondering where it went. Why was it deleted?

Honestly, is this someone you respect? He doesn't sound like that awesome of a person...so why would his opinion even matter? If he's buzzing around you, why can't you just put in some headphones and tune him out? I think it's good you walked away, because escalating to the point of a throw down isn't going to solve it,…

Same here. It's gone, I guess. How sad.

Totally a geek here. Avid gamer, mystery and sci fi reader, science documentary binger, cartoon lover, and a plethora of other nerdy and geeky things connoisseur. I'm also getting a PhD in forensic psychology. I'm open to adding friends.

I follow an 80/20 clean eating habit. I'm three weeks in and I love it. I lost approximately 5 pounds the first week, but I've hovered around the same weight for two weeks now, despite an active deficit. However, I feel better, more energized, and healthy. It's also resetting my palate, for lack of a better word. Things I…

Constant fatigue...not contact...sorry for the typo.

I took this for two months a while back, before I got super serious about my health. I lost 22 pounds in the first month. The doctor called me his star patient. I lost less the following month, but mostly it was because I was terrified of becoming malnourished and was forcing myself to eat. This pill eliminated my desire…

Damn it. I LOVE fruit juice. Kidding kidding. That was truly touching. I find sotirs of perseverance to be so motivational. Thank you for sharing.

Water mainly. Unsweetened black or green tea. An occasional soda.

All veggies? Every single one? Have you tried to vary the method of preparation?

Just hop in the discussion with your challenge set up and come back each week to report in. I usually quote my previous post and remove the quote brackets, edit as needed and, bam, new post with updated info. Good luck!

I switched to 80/20 clean eating two weeks ago and couldn't be happier. On weekends I tend to relax and eat more processed, but I don't think of those days as cheat days, really. It's all sort of built in throughout my week. If I really want something through the week that's processed or junk food related, I make sure I've…

I'm here almost daily, but I don't track consistently. Just log in for motivation and the community mostly....and to track my progress. If you're open to that, I'll add you!

I can be your friend...but I don't log my food/workouts consistently. Just my progress...I use this for the community and motivation so I'm here pretty much daily.

Not such a great start. Up half a pound. But, I lost like 4 pounds last week, so we shall see how this ends up. Good luck everyone! This! I have had cravings, on occasion, for fast food and my brain constantly reminds me of how delicious it is or how delicious it's going to be...then I get it and it's mediocre. It's like my brain remembers how it used to be and hasn't been able to catch up to how it is now. It's the weirdest thing.

I've looked into tabata and hiit before, but I'm not advanced enough to be able to do these programs safely or effectively yet. Maybe someday in the future.

Thank you!

Will do! thanks.

Thank you! Fantastic! Thanks!

I'm looking for overall fitness and health as a lifestyle. However, I cannot say I don't wish to see physical improvements either. In any case, I have done plenty of diets in the past and I'm not looking for short term anymore. Because this is a big change, though, I'm starting somewhat slow so that I don't burn out and…

I have a gym membership, so I have access to machines and free weights. I cannot afford a trainer, as much as I'd love that. To be honest, I'm extremely intimidated to use the free weights at the gym since I'm so new to all of this and it's always full of very fit people who seem to know what they're doing. However, that…

I don't have the money in my budget for a trainer, as much as I'd love one. Do you have any recommended programs for a newbie?
-
If recommend weight lifting for a toned body rather than focusing on weight loss.

I have to say I track only occasionally. I know I should probably track more consistently, but I have done this kind of thing on and off for several years and find I rarely stick to anything if I feel like I have to track everything. I end up feeling pressured and then just fall off the wagon. Since I switched to clean…

Right now my two favorite snacks are: raw broccoli or almond/craisins mix. I can't get enough!

Feeling guilty in the check-out line if you have processed foods or junk foods in your grocery cart. Conversely, feeling oddly good when you have fresh veggies and fruit.
