Just listen to your body which I'm sure everyone will tell you. A little bit of time off will not destroy all your progress just like going to the gym once will not give you the physique you're dreaming of

I am NOT an expert in any fitness field, but for me personally I love cardio and try to do it 5 days a week, either through circuits or running or elliptical. I also lift 5 days a week and notice my strength improving while also losing body fat. My next goal is to up my calories and protein specifically so I can start to…

If you REALLY want it, your mind will tell your tired body to STFU and get out of bed, and eventually it will become the norm :) I easily wake up at 6 and head to the gym or outside for a run even on days off, it is part of my lifestyle and its something I want badly.

Suppresses my appetite when I cant get to my healthy food right away! ❤

Whatever your focus is, do that first. If your goal is fat burning and calories so hiit first. If you want muscles do lifting first. That's "dumbed down language" but you get the point :)

Depends on your routine. If you separate muscle groups and give 48 to 72 hours for muscle tears to repair between working them again, then you may rarely feel like you need a rest day. I keep my weekends clear so I can do a quick full body routine or run if i want, but will also be okay if I rest
-
Machines are a great place to start for confidence and stability but weights "cheat" (in a good way!) By making other muscle groups work to keep you steady and sturdy. Its like bonus micro - workouts :)
-
I use a heart rate monitor and log it as cardio
