  • Hey everyone! I'm on week 2 of the c25k and it did get a little better, I wasn't as out of breath as I thought. But, I don't feel I will be in any shape to run a 5k when I'm done with this. I finally got some new shoes so my feet don't hurt as bad, but I'm going to the doctor in the morning.
  • @skinnyjeanzbound Where do I go to get fit for shoes because I have plantar faciitis pretty bad in my right foot and sometimes it kills me to walk. Lifting weights gives me some energy but the running really zaps it from me, maybe I'm not eating the right foods. You're right about keeping going; I find that it's difficult…
  • I found everyone again, yay! So I figured out a way to eat healthy and my wife and her son eat what they want, I started keeping healthier foods in the fridge for me and is working great. I also added a new workout to my gym regimen, the C25k. I started 3 days ago, it's not bad, but it does take some discipline. I do that…
  • Hello everyone, I'm glad I found this thread, I read a few and y'all seem like really nice people. Well, I have 100 lbs to lose, I started MFP in late February or early March, can't quite remember, but I've list right around 30 lbs but feels like more inches. I travel a lot and I found I was able to go to the gym EVERY…
  • 26lbs gone since February with 100 more to go...hope I make it.
  • Thank you all, this is great feedback, v especially the calculations. With the change in my diet, I find myself not as hungry between meals, I'm guessing it's because I've upped my protein intake. Are there any supplements I should start taking?
  • I think I'm still losing weight, it's just coming off really slow now that I've added in the weights. I might lose 5 lbs, then gain 3 back, and so on. I'm going to try and cut back on my calories a little bit.
  • I bought a Garmin vivofit 2 and love it, I also like that fact you don't have to charge it like a fitbit.
  • I have a goal of losing 100 lbs, I'm down 20 since the 1st of January. I feel I've lost more inches than weight because my clothes are fitting different but the scale's not moving much. MFP has me on a 2150 calorie a day diet and most of the time I'm under, but there are times like today where I ate too much at lunch and…
  • In reading all your posts, I'm wondering about my calorie count for the day. Mine says 2200, that's for 2 lbs a week weight loss, and I try my hardest to stay under my caloric intake. I go to the gym 4-6 times a week and don't consciously eat my workout calories, which don't add up to very many. According to MFP, an hour…
  • I feel your pain, I hate them too! There are a very select few that I tolerate, the rest I eat because I love her. I find a good, creamy ranch dressing goes a long way in making raw veggies edible.
  • How do you get MFP to log the calories for strength training, it does it for cardio...
