Whenever I eat out I tend to go for poached fish or something lightly grilled (chicken breast is always good) and a salad. Chinese - At the very least ask if they can make your stir fry with a "light" soy to knock off some sodium. My local Chinese restaurant is very good to cater to what you want. I have talked to the cook…

I wont. I actually haven't logged in a really long time and weighed myself yesterday and I was down 3.8 pounds. So 2 milestones. Went over 30 pounds lost and finally under 160! from 188 to 157 since March. Feeling fantastic.

lol oh I can totally see how easy it can happen, I guess in my head I am detemined and stubborn and wont allow that to happen. I hope I am not eating my words in a few years lol. Gonna do my best.

5'3 sw : 188 cw: 161 gw : 135 26 to go but if I get to 140 and feel great I will be good with that. Motivation is once you start to lose for me. When I started going shopping and buying smaller clothes it was all the motivation I needed to keep going! Good luck you can do it!

But to me those people looked at it as a diet to just lose the weight, they didn't change their lifestyle. If you go back to old habits then for sure you wont keep it off. If you are healthy and totally changed the way you live and eat why would you have to log all the time? (and I am absolutey talking about when you have…

thanks everyone for the responses. I have actually been not logging since a month or so and have still managed to lose. I am absolutely going to weigh myself on a regular basis cause no friggin way do I want to gain any of my loss back. If I see more then a pound or 2 I will start logging right away. I don't have internet…

have you tried a naturopath? Sometimes there are levels in your body that may be off that can affect weight loss. And getting your thyroid tested is totally a good idea. find a new Dr. No Dr should ever tell a patient they are wasting their time so don't let them beat you. Don't give up. There is someone out there that…

Taking time for yourself is easier said then done sometimes. Pre plan so you don't sabotage yourself with quick easy high calorie meals. I always have fixing for salads and cooked chicken in my fridge. So I never have to settle for something less healthy if I don't have time to make something it takes 5 minutes to throw…

they are having issues and the tech people are getting a fix for it. They said it could take 24-48 hrs. If you click on the help tab at the top they are posting updates about the issue

I have been having issues since 3 days but they are aware of it and supposed to have it fixed within 24-48 hrs. I have been keeping it on paper and will log when it is back up and running. Didn't realize what a big part of my day this was. LOL!

I think it should start with the diet. Work on that first, get yourself eating the right amount of calories. Exercise is of course super important but I found when I started that it was a bit overwhelming to try to change all of me at once. I started with getting my diet in check and making good healthy choices. Then after…

I had a girlfriend that lost 40 ibls and plateaued for 5 months without dropping a pound doing everything she could to lose the last 10 and then all of a sudden it started to come off again and she dropped that last 10 in less then 2 months. So stick with it !

don't beat yourself up so much. Some people can do things like this easier then others and I know there is nothing easy about it! Start today ! you have to have patience which is one of the hardest things when all you want to do is see a difference right NOW! I had to accept I didn't put the weight on in a day and it isn't…

dill pickle rice crisps do it for me 12 chips - 80 calories so I usually have 24 and it is enough. And I was a bag a day chip eater.

I have a friend that tried everything to lose weight and she couldn't finally after more then a year of trying to went to a naturopath that told her her body was too acidic. And it was confusing her system into storing her fat and not allowing it to burn off. She took a natural supplement to balance her acid level in her…

I was sick of not being able to buy clothes that I liked on the rack instead of having to settle for what was in my size. The first 3 weeks were painful I will not lie. I was hungry a lot, I was only seeing a few pounds off after 2-3 weeks and then at week 4 I had lost 8.2 pounds. THAT was all I needed. Seeing that number…

Interesting. This site is great. It is amazing the things I am learning through watching what I eat and how much I was eating that was total crap even though I thought it was "ok". thanks for sharing

LOL! It is totally crazy the sodium amounts in the food I used to eat. Quite scary really. I am not picking up the salt shaker... Like you said there is enough in everyday foods

thanks for all the tips.

Because I love salt and want to get it most natural way I can not by adding a refinded substance to my diet..
-
my naturaopath tells me that I should be comsuming at least 1500mg a day, that certain organs require sodium to function properly. Just making sure I am not causing negative effects to my body while trying to lose weight at the same time.

awesome thanks I was thinking it would be impossible to log every small exercise she does.
