:D @EWJLang Yay. I'm so glad I could make someone's day. Life is way too dang short! As Simpson once said "First you get the sugar, then you get the power, then you get the women!" Down with Orthorexic restrictive fad diets propagated by greedy charlatans and up with sustainable diets that make us happy and healthy! I'mma…

Chances are you may be underestimating the fat intake on the foods you're eating which is contributing to a higher caloric intake than you are logging. One of the downsides of eating primal/paleo that includes lots of protein from animal sources, nuts and dairy (if you're including it), the fat amounts can vary greatly on…

Grew up in Manitoba but currently reside in Edmonton Alberta. Feel free to friends me. :)

I don't even.... this thread is... I don't... know. OP, join Pinterest, search for "cheerio recipes" and you're done. Pinterest is magical.

Been there as a fellow momma with little to no support most of the year (in terms of child care relief and daily chores). Working out consistently to vent my frustrations (as exhausting as it was at times due to lack of sleep or stress) really gave me something to look forward to each day, it's my therapy! It wasn't always…

Taking progress photos also helps, so you can see the changes for yourself. I've still got some old photos (this is from before smart phones being invented) from when I was only running all the time and way too thin, I wasn't being real with myself. I looked worse at a lower weight in those photos than now at a heavier…

People in my life are always very happy to hear I'm bulking so I'll no longer weird them out with my chest striations and vascular arms, yes, seriously. We fit freaks are pretty much the minority nowadays. When you look different than others or have different goals, sometimes people (even those that are close and love you)…

As a female I aim to gain 1-2 lbs per month. I gained exactly 10 lbs in 9 months this bulk, wasn't tracking and guesstimate now that I am tracking again that I was gaining on 2700-3200 per day before I started this cut. I felt like I was eating boat loads of food all the dang time. I ate a lot of pancakes with the fixings…

Corgi and Doxie, what can I say? I've got a thing for stumpy legs.

I got a Dachshund mix puppy this year after years of wanting one, we named him Tawko, I mostly got him because I wanted a walking partner and couldn't commit to a big dog, I fell in love at first sight! Only problem is he's a big suck and hates wet weather, he'll dig in his heels and refuses to walk without coercion…

Bahahaha, your post made my day! :D I'mma check that website out, always wanted to knit, just started sewing again because I got a new machine. I'm a pillow making crazy lately...

Howdy, feel free to friends me if you like (profile picture is from last June which is probably close to what I'll look like again this June if I cut right). CW: 147 GW: 132-135 MW: 140 (Maintenance weight, after I increase calories a bit after achieving GW/leanness to keep dem hormones happy and minimize lean mass losses…

I have no desire to lose 5 lbs this month (I usually only aim to lose 2lbs per month to minimize lean mass losses as I don't have much to lose) but you're all welcome to friends me anyway. :)

Edited because it was already answered just prior, lol.

Oh oh, add me add me! I usually don't add people but I want to stick with my logging this time around and make some company. :)

I'm doing one trail half and one road half this year, haven't decided which but probably one in July and one in October from the looks of it. I love my endurance season!

Mmm beer. <3

LOL holy hell, just noticed how old this thread is... oh noes! Hahaha. :D
-
Been there and going there again, I bulked for 9 months from mid summer until just last week when I started my cut. I aim to be 15% by July, which then I'll increase the calories slightly and then maintain at 17% indefinitely again for an undetermined amount of time. This bulk I was dead set on gaining some much needed…

Extra caffeine... then work out even harder to vent those pent up feels, following with a hot epsom salt bath and treating myself to ice cream, muahahaha...

I'm not dogmatic about any which "nutritional gurus" I follow, but Ray Peat's diet/information was every interesting/educational to me. A lot of people have success turning their thyroid health around implementing some of the stuff he advocates, just don't become a Peat Freak.. you don't have to go off the deep end to see…

Runner fo'life! Anyone who wants running buddies in this thread can add me as well. I just got back to MFP (I track my calories during the endurance season so I'm not under eating and losing lean mass from my fall/winter bulks trying to gain muscle).

I always do a long slow scenic run on my birfday... it's such a great meditative process for me. :)
