Totally off topic here, but I have a friend who had PCOS... and she dropped about 30 lbs and got pregnant on accident! Sooo anything is possible! She was also on the pill. She's on baby number two now. It's amazing what a healthy lifestyle can do. :)

Hey! 26 and need to lose like 35 lbs! (Already lost about 20) I would love to at least check in weekly or during weak moments. The area I need most encouragement is to get my butt moving!!!

Depending on the types of fiber I ingest, it can actually cause constipation with me. If you're consuming a ton of vegetables, maybe make sure they're cooked at least a little easier so the body can digest better? That's what i've learned over time...

Added. :smile: Hoping this will be a great motivator! My SO's birthday is the 8th, and mine is the 26th! I would love to be 20 lbs lighter for that.

My goal is around 135. My highest was 195 late last year. Currently just under 175. I think the lowest I got in (Jr. High) was 137, so that'll be a crazy accomplishment. No rush.

When I ignore my cravings, I try to replace them with healthier versions.. My craving continues to get stronger and I eventually cave in and wind up eating 2x the calories. Don't have unhealthy treats accessible! Make yourself do 50 crunches before you're allowed to have a snack! It'll make you think first.

Eating smaller amounts of the things I like. Understanding that I CAN'T just eat one slice of pizza. Adding vegetables to all of my meals. Thinking about how my meal will benefit my body. If I want a burger and fries, I lose the bun and get a small fry. Baby steps... but it's working!

I know how it goes. It's really hard to stick to something when you're not seeing drastic results. I have finally realized that even losing a pound every two weeks is better than gaining one or two over the course of the year. So you may not lose 30 lbs in a month or two... Who cares? I have two pugs. The three of us are in serious need of a good workout. I will take them on walks every day, and "hiking" on most weekends. They LOVE it! :)
