Thanks all for your replies :) makes sense I suppose, I read on one of the millions of forums they have out there that less than 50g of carbs a day is recommended for weight loss so thought I'd ask coz I have more than double of that and it freaked me out!!

Good post you got there!! I've been recommended by MFP to stay on 1200cal if I want to lose weight, not sure it's all that effective as you mentioned.. I'm 5'3 and weigh 141lb, I want to drop to 125lb. Do you suggest I increase my intake close to 2000 cal? With the right foods of course Thanks !

Google "minimalist baker". She makes beautiful Healthy food with full nutritional info including carbs, fats etc and the number of calories per serve.. There is a free detox guide which actually isn't just juices, it has lunch and dinner recipes that look amazing !

Stupid concept.. It's very temporary, no one spends their whole lives on meal replacements.. Reasonable lifestyle changes are the way to go

Are they really that different ? It seems all relative to me. The smaller serving size has slightly less calories and protein. I think they're saying the same thing.

I would definitely worry about cholesterol levels with the yolk!! I wouldn't have more than 2 whole eggs a day, the rest would be egg whites

Thanks ! I tried 1/3 cup chia seeds with 1 1/2 cups of unsweetened almond milk and added honey and cinnamon.. Pretty sure I got the measurements wrong as it didn't set as a pudding by the morning. What measurements do you guys use ?

I love Les mills!! Body attack is one hell of a cardio workout, and burns more calories than rpm or combat (for me at least ). I've noticed improvement in my fitness from it too! Try Pump aswell, great toner.

Just added you girls :) I love that I can leave the gym all sweaty after just 28minutes !! Never thought it was possible. Sometimes I do a cardio session afterwards but it isn't always necessary. I have problems with toning my lower body so I hope this will do my butt some good !

Well done for staying the class! I've seen several times where people walk out before the first cardio peak! Definately will see results :) I've only tried combat once, wasn't too bad.. Pump is great too!

I agree with the over-inflating caloric burns. Every time I put into the diary my exercise and duration it tells me I've burnt a good 100 calories or more than what my HR monitor displays

Measure your neck, waist, arm and hip instead of weighing yourself. Use body fat % as an indicator rather than the scales or BMI because you may actually be improving

Any heart rate monitor with a chest strap would be the most accurate. Not sure the types that would sync with an iPhone. I have a polar FT7 it's pretty good!
