Hey Everyone, I hope I'm not imposing. I am getting started on loosing weight.....again! ] I'm committed to making sure that this is the last time. As such, I'd love to chat with like minded folks where there is a little more consistent activity going on. I've struggled with weight fluctuations over the last few years and…

I'd love to join in. I have more than 20 that I need to loose in order to be at a healthy weight for my height. However, 20 lbs is a nice intermediate goal. I've struggled to loose weight over the last few years. Never being able to drop below 155 and I'd like to break that.

I've seen mason jar salad and "bowl" recipes on Pinterest that are easy. And depending on where you're at (I'm in California) with the weather getting colder, a large batch of soup portioned out into mason jars helps too. You can freeze the soup in the jars but make sure you leave enough room for the liquid to expand.

Yes, it's tough bc I am the one who makes dinner but I also like to be considerate and make things he'll like too. So far, the only winner we've had, has been "taco" zucchini boats. It's not like everything I cook is unhealthy but it's certainly not as clean or healthy as it could be. Then again, we also have children who…

Count me in. I've been stuck on a plateau for the last few months.

I'm down to try the challenge out. Idk how great I'll be at it bc Burpees are evil but challenges do help me to stay motivated.

I agree with others that say keep up with the both cardio and strength training. Have you tried HIIT workouts, Crossfit, or even Yoga/Pilates? HIIT and Crossfit from what I've seen and heard from others will get you into some of the best shape of your life. I do yoga and Pilates (great for building core strength) and…

I feel like that too sometimes, especially when my boys start crying because I'm leaving for the gym. I try to go immediately after they're tucked in most times but, if an instructor I like is teaching a class in the evening before hand, I'll try to make it to the class. Think of the investment in yourself as something you…

Carrot sticks/baby carrots and guacamole are good. Satisfies the crunch craving and the fats from the avocado will help you feel fuller. I also like saltine crackers with cottage cheese

I could use more "accountabilibuddies". I'm in CA, USA, so we're in completely different time zones but I agree with your mentality. There is something to be said about interacting with folks more so than simply hitting the like button.

This is almost identical to the issues I've been having over the last several years. I've been look for people to hold me accountable. It wasn't until earlier this week that I decided to start seeking people out on MFP bc my social group, isn't really interested in loosing weight.

I'd like to get at around the weight and have a similar daily calorie target.

Trying to find find folks to keep me motivated and accountable. I've tried committing to a healthy lifestyle change but it is tough to do solo

You can add me as well. I restarted a little more than two weeks ago and I've found that my biggest issue is being able to stay motivated bc of a lack of accountability buddies. I'd say almost everyone I know has no interest in dropping weight or making exercise a part of their daily routine :(
