1/24 - 4.3 mi. 78.6/90 = Jan total Today was a horrible sloppy mess in Maine - freezing rain, sleet, wind, etc. No school for the kiddos. Gave me a chance to run on my treadmill during a different time of day than usual - a nice change in the routine.

Easy 5K tonight 74.3/90 = Jan. total I've never tracked mileage or done a challenge before - it's fun to watch the miles rack up! :D

Just lose a couple more lbs. (4 or 5) so I'm at the same weight I was prior to having kids. I know it's vain & shallow, but I always try to imagine how I would feel bumping into people in public from high school/college...I want to look my best and not slip into a noticeable but very gradual weight gain pattern.

1/21 - 4.2 Jan total: 67/90 I should fess up to the fact that I haven't tried running without listening to music yet. I started running in mid-Nov. and since I live in Maine & the weather is crappy right now, I've been running on my treadmill. Music is definitely my crutch...it pushes me to keep going & makes the time go…

Another 4.2 on 1/15 & 1/16. That puts my Jan. total at 51.3/90. I sorta can't believe it. As a newbie runner, I'm impressing the hell out of myself! Hoping for another 4 mi. later today. Have a great day, all! :)
