I am also 5'4 at 1500 calories, I dont track my exercise but I do gym 5 days a week. When she tells you that you will lose you probably will just not fast like it seems you are wanting. I tried doing the whole 1200 calorie thing and its just not easy for me. I lift weights and do cardio and my work outs suffered eating…

I biked 18.76 miles on my "mountian bike" from walmart at 11mph average pace. Bent rims and all this was a hard task, needless to say its time for a new bike if I want to do distance! Good burn though!

I do this--- my baggies are one serving of crackers- 70 calories. 1 pouch of Tuna 90 calories- 1 ounce of almonds ect. Its grabbing more than one bag and just not paying much attention in the time frame that I am home that is hurting me!

@jcow84 good idea, we have a great room so the dinning, kitchen and living room are all just one big space I might occupy myself with laundry or dishes or something to keep myself busy while talking as well! Thank you all!!!

I stopped tracking my exercise because it was just kinda nerve racking for me, I would enter in a whole days worth of food so that I would have an idea of what calories I was at, knowing that at work out I would burn some but still seeing that number say I was over just freaked me out. So I am going to try staying at 1500…

I think i might try all week to stay busy and not hang out while he is eating. Maybe that will help me stay away from the snacks- I don't know if its because he is eating, or I just feel a tad hungry at that time and end up eating more than just a little snack!
-
well last week I measured out almonds and raisins, crackers for my tuna pouches, made containers of fresh cut up fruit, and also snack mix- ( has pretzals, peanuts, PB chips ect) in little bags so they were all in single portions. But the thing is I dont need to be snacking I dont think, since i normally have a snack at…

If I could be as faithful with my eating on the weekend as I am during the week I would be at goal by now. This love affair with food is causing me conflicting heart ache!

Same problem here my lower body in general is just big, but I did notice when I first started and was running more that they started getting smaller. Like previous posters have said you cant spot reduce but if you keep losing weight you will get there, or just have big muscular legs! Either way own it!

I guess I am just looking for some healthy variety is the whole reason for asking the question, maybe not as much which one is better.... Just like bacon I prefer Turkey now that I have tried it!! I love beef patties too dont get my wrong just looking outside my "normal diet" :)
-
That sounds really good !! I am just now getting into trying "new" things for me, Turkey burger was one of those, I have also recently tried turkey bacon and prefer it over pork by far!!

I agree lifting weights I have never been sick like that but after a really long cardio training yes!! Hope you find answers and don't give up on the weights!

5'4 and at 187 I was wearing a 16 and XL or L---- 158lbs a 8-10 or Med----140 a 7-8 and medium or Small My lower body- mainly the booty and thighs is large so being any smaller than a 6 or 7 is very unlikely!!

Mine today is roasted pepper hummus and pretzals, but roasted almonds or dry roasted peanuts are good with a cheese stick. Couple slices of lunch meat and a slice of cheese. Those pre made snack mixes. Tuna creations 1 serving and some crackers. Veggies. Your options are endless!!! I also cut fresh fruit and portion it out…
-
great transformation!! I love lifting weights as well and agree those who dont are missing out!!!
-
I started at 187 and currently Im at 158... they are smaller but still there.... I really noticed them alot less at 140lbs but I dont know if they ever really completely go away, for me anyways i would have to be at a really low body fat more than likely!
