  • 30 lbs in 61 days, so far, by following a low carb diet. I use MFP religiously, but on to track my carbs. I could care less about the calories. And Low carb isn't all about meat. It's understanding how foods breakdown as sugars and choosing foods that don't breakdown as quickly.
  • Splenda is sugar that has had chlorine bonded to the sugar molecules to trick the body into passing it along and not absorbing the sugar. As for the chlorine... It also passes with the sugar because of the bonding process of the molecules.
  • Russell Stovers makes very good sugar free chocolates. Asher's is probably my favorite. Any of the sugar free candies can cause stomach cramps and diarrhea if you eat too many. Keep that in mind and enjoy a piece once in a while to satisfy your cravings for chocolate.
  • Use Mission Carb Balance Tortillas as your crust. I lightly toast mine first, then top and bake for a few minutes to melt the cheese. It satisfies my craving for pizza without the bizarre tastes of other crust recipes.
