I am glad I found this. I’m 9 weeks pregnant and haven’t been able to exercise for the last few months. I’d started exercising regularly last May and really wanted to keep up with it but haven’t had the energy or stamina this first trimester. I’ve also been eating like a horse and really need to get back on track. I…

mybodygallery.com is a useful website for me when I want to see what other woman who weigh the same as me look like.

That is incredible!! Keep working hard and never lose sight of why you started this in the first place.

vox.com/2016/6/29/12051520/exercise-weight-loss-myth-burn-calories-video I just read this article yesterday which talks about exercise being great for your health but not so much for weight loss. It is a good read when you have time.

Ultimately it is about being confidant with ourselves and trying not to judge others. I am very guilty of comparing myself to others but try to remind myself I am 5'7" with a size 10 shoe; I am not a small person. When I see these celebrities or fit people online it is hard not be envious. But the Jillian Michaels, Mila…

I know with Weight Watchers they give you more points when you are pregnant. I would imagine you would get a few extra hundred calories a week. Congratulations btw!!

Touché @ncboiler89 What do you like to do in your free time?

I am gathering from these responses that I definitely need to acquire some new hobbies. I live in the desert and it supposed to be near 120 on Monday so anything I can do inside helps. I too want to be a reformed couch potato @healthykaitlin

Me too! I lost 30 pounds several years ago and have put 20 of it back on. I refuse to get back to that highest number. I have tracked all my food yesterday and today. Weekends are tough for me because I spend the majority of my time at home and usually make my way to the kitchen more than I should. I am hoping this renewed…

@an0nemus would you message a friend on here if you noticed they hadn't tracked their food for today? I get sort of touchy when people try to hold me accountable because I am overly sensitive so I am not sure I would like that. Then again I might appreciate someone checking in on me. I think there is a fine line and I…

Welcome back! I am in the same boat as you but I have shifted my mindset and am all in! You/we can do this. Keep at it and don't let one setback derail you. Stay the course even if you have a bad day. Good luck!

I agree with some previous posters and weigh once a week. The daily fluctuations make me crazy!
-
So amazing! You are definitely an inspiration! I followed you on IG

For me an accountability buddy is someone who can help hold me accountable and who also has the same goals as me. An ideal person for me would be someone how uses MFP and is trying to lose weight. We could check in with each other and see whether or not we are tracking everything we eat and making good choices.

I am definitely a coffee snob now thanks to my husband who became a coffee master with Starbucks. We have fresh ground coffee everyday and it has to be dark roast. Yum!
-
@geneticsteacher because my 1 cup of spaghetti with meat sauce would not leave me feeling full. Unfortunately I have an issue digesting a lot of raw vegetables but I know they are important for nutrition and weight loss...

I have not been exercising lately since I have been in a slump but I do wear a Fitbit and am intending to up my steps daily. Do you recommend eating those calories back? If not won't it help me reach my goal faster?
-
Good luck! You can do it, I think consistency is key. I have fallen off the wagon and just got back on myself. I intend to track everything I eat from here on out, whether I am over my daily limit or not.
-
Thank you for the encouragement. I had hoped I wouldn't be in this position again but you are right I can do it again!
-
@VintageFeline @lauraesh0384 you are right. I am going to change my goal to make it more realistic. I think I lost so fast with WW because I was practically starving. Thank you both!!
-
@tena1028 Thank you!! I think I will start measuring also. That way my goal isn't just weight focused.

Health problems don't make this any easier, that is for sure! I too was diagnosed with IBS and eating salads the last few days have been really rough on my system. It is hard for me to to stick to 1200 calories a day. I have tracked breakfast, lunch and one snack and I only have 350 calories left for the day! So what ends…

Thank you @CorneliusPhoton for your reply. I realize, like a lot of things in life, weight loss is 20% head knowledge and 80% behavior. I have the knowledge part of it down but the behavior is a different story. I do really appreciate your feedback because it shows that you are knowledgeable on the subject and knowledge is…

I want to lose 20 pounds. I am comfortable around 155 and am 5'7". The lowest I have even been was 145 and I stayed there for half a second... not realistic for me.
-
Yes @NatalieLJ I have definitely been living in denial!! Thank you for your feedback. Do you weigh once a week?
-
Thank you @vespiquenn That reminds me of a saying, "fail to plan, plan to fail". I have definitely been guilty of that. The feedback is much appreciated and it actually helps to know more have been in this same position.

Thank you for your reply @lauraesh0384 When you say a lifestyle change do you mean tracking everything you eat? I realize my biggest downfall is in the evening where I do a lot of snacking in front of the T.V.
