I am in the same boat. Welcome back!

You mention that you don't have a clue how many calories a given item has - you can look almost ANY food up on MFP's database or by Googling. Do you have access to a pool? Swimming is one of the best exercises you can do and even if you don't swim laps, just swimming around helps. Or water aerobics. I live in FL and…

Thank you! I'm always looking for good sweet recipes and LOVE brownies. I'm going to try these soon!

Gonna have to try these! I'm always looking for the Smart Ones/Lean Cuisines but finding that I've had all of the different kinds and they're getting boring. Thanks for the suggestion and congratulations on losing 150lbs! What an accomplishment!

I can't speak to the gluten free thing, because it doesn't affect me at all. But I'm most definitely lactose intolerant. If I drink regular cow's milk or have more than a half cup of regular ice cream, my guts twist and turn and it's not a pretty thing. it's quite painful. Funny I can have one cup of yogurt and cheese…

13 yrs is a long time and people can grow apart and change a lot within that time frame. Perhaps it's time to reassess things? Have a nice chat over some wine (or whatever) and really discuss your feelings? It may also be time to try some marriage counseling.

While I don't believe in any food being a "super food", I've found that Halo Top ice cream completely satisfies my craving for dessert and fits well within my calorie goals. It works for me!

I save about 250 calories every day for dessert. I usually have a Fiber one brownie (90 calories) along with a serving of Halo Top ice cream (70-90 calories) and 2 servings of reddi whip whipped cream on top (30 calories). That or I'll have strawberries with whipped cream or a few pieces of dark chocolate. I can't give up…

I lost when I was on Wellbutrin. Gave me massive headaches and horrible constipation but yes, I lost weight on it.

5' here too. Was successful in losing over 100lbs from 2011-2012. I don't have any pics to upload since I'm at work but I slowly gained about 65lbs back over the years (happy marriage!). I'm currently down 20lbs since Feb and weigh in again July 1. Will post progress then.

Great job! Congrats! It sure is nice to see progress, isn't it?

I had a similar experience with a used car salesman. I was interested in an older Jeep Grand Cherokee and asked him to test drive it. He said "oh you won't like that car". I asked if there was anything mechanically wrong with it and what was the reason I wouldn't like it? He said, "it's a standard transmission". So I said,…

I gained 65lbs - so consider it a good thing that you're here before you've gotten in deeper!

Hey there - I know what you mean. I live in FL so the heat and humidity will be a big problem for the next few months. We lost a lot of motivation and didn't workout for the last month, but are determined to get back into the gym, starting tonight. Remember though, exercise is for fitness. Diet is for weight loss. You…

We seriously met a woman working at Dunkin Donuts this past weekend who answered this question with: "Well, milk comes from black and white cows and people add mocha to it to change the color". LMFAO She was kinda right!

Welcome back!

Just eat at a deficit and the weight will come off without exercise. Diet is a significant part of weight loss. Sorry to hear about your physical problems, but it shouldn't impeded your weight loss efforts :)

I've lived in 11 states now. Originally from Detroit, Michigan but currently in Clearwater, FL. I have about 45lbs to lose!

I use the Vita Fusion Adult gummy vitamins every day. Doc said they're fine for me

You don't have to limit your foods to mainly salads to lose weight. Find your calorie goal and stick with it and you'll lose weight!

I haven't found much that takes care of my GERD other than prescription meds. I've eaten a completely bland diet and avoided all the trigger foods (citrus, alcohol, chocolate, carbonated drinks, spicy foods, etc) and it didn't make a difference at all in the frequency of my symptoms. I hope dietary changes work for you!
