I'm 46, 4'11" and work a sedentary office job as well. I've been at 1100-1200 calories this month and have lost 10lbs. 1200 works for some, not for others. A lot of factors play in.

I'd work some good proteins and fiber in for satiety otherwise you'll be starving by 9 or 10pm!

I work in sweets every day to my calorie count and trust me, when you only have 1200 calories a day, you have to make it work. I buy Dove dark chocolates and Yasso fudge frozen yogurt bars and have one serving a day. I can't cut sweets. I just can't.

Sorry to hear about your fall and injury! Just remember, weight loss is mainly about your food choices and exercise is for overall health/strength. Find your calorie goal and stick with it and the weight will come off regardless of any exercise! Good luck and welcome back!
