Bad mood from decreased food when dieting?

I am experiencing this although my life is good and I am happy with it.

What foods are best for making us feel emotionally good?

Can anyone relate?

    I can definitely relate. I'm not dieting, per se, just eating less, and yes, it makes me mad sometimes that I can't just eat whatever I want without having to account for it. But then I remember that I have goals to meet and that helps. For me, it's sweets that make me feel good emotionally. So I went out and got a couple bags of the Dove dark chocolates and I fit them into my daily calorie goals. Some days I can only have one, but that's generally enough for me to boost my mood. Or a Yasso fudge frozen yogurt bar. :) Whatever food you crave, have it, just a smaller amount!
