I just switched to a Fitbit too. I got the fitbit surge. Are you getting an error message or anything? What is it doing? I will do my best to try and help you get it connected. Also, have you tried this: http://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/How-do-I-integrate-Fitbit-with-MyFitnessPal
