I like #2. I eat when bored too, one tactic I use is to take a walk instead, fights boredom and burns calories.

Most nights I only sleep 5 hours or so, and don't feel tired during the day, I have accepted it as part of the new lifestyle I'm living.

Thank you to everyone for the advice. I am working on maintenance this week, then will reevaluate.
-
Thanks, this is helpful. I have reset my goal for maintenance, which is giving me 2260 cals/day. I am going to do this for one week, then reevaluate. Thanks for the support.
-
How long should the maintenance break last?
-
I think you and the others are right. What do I do? Set my goal to maintenance and then just log like normal?
-
This is a great tip, thanks!

What you've achieved is huge but I don't think you should have a time scale goal. This is a great opportunity to start slowing down and learning what life long maintenance will be like. And hey, we all go through hungry phases, learning to deal with them is part of the learning curve! Thanks to all for the advice, I'm…

I have been feeling good, no new stressors. I had set a goal to be under 200 lb. By new years (that is in jeopardy). I have kept logging, though it is hard to log when you are eating peanut butter straight from the jar. I have wondered about vitamins, I was taking a daily vitamin but stopped a couple of weeks ago, just…

My motivation is...getting below 200 lbs for the first time since high school. That would be 25+ years. I am within 15 lbs of the goal...planning to be there by Christmas. To God be the glory!

In October of 2014 I weighed 330 lbs at only 5'6". Today I weigh 220 lbs and still losing, how did I do it? I asked God for the strength to help me do what I had never been able to do before. I started walking every day, just one mile per day at first, then building up to longer walks, and as the weight came off I started…

I have had the same thing! I eat all kinds of foods that I either "didn't like" or had not tried before and have found that I love many of them! As if my taste buds have changed!

Another of my discoveries has been Nature's Own Double Fibre Wheat Bread (I don't make bread), it is really good. What are dinosaur eggs?
-
I eat the flavored Greek 100 calories yogurts and love them, does plain Greek yogurt really taste good as a substitute for sour cream or mayonaisse? I just haven't tried that yet.
-
Great job Monstro! What are some favorite foods you've discovered along the way?
-
I have not plateaued yet, so it has all been positive to this point. Though I have been told that I've lost enough now, I just politely ignore that because I know I have more to go.
-
Maybe I'm an oddball but I am really encouraged by people's comments on my weight loss. I think I will miss it when it "wears off".
-
Thank you for the response, I love the 80 or 100 calorie Greek yogurts.

My diary is open for all to see, most days I eat 1500 or more, because I also exercised, but I was looking for ideas for days like today, when I didn't.
-
I appreciate everyone 's feedback, I'll consider adjusting my goal.
-
I am at 1300 because my goal is losing 2 lb. Per week.

I have lost over 100 lbs. in the less than a year. I used to be hot...all...the...time. If I went up steps I would break a sweat. I only wore a jacket or sweater when it got close to freezing temps. Now, I get cold often, why do they keep restaurants so cold? grocery stores? I am finding myself wearing a jacket everywhere…

This past weekend our power was out due to rainy weather here in Virginia, I was sitting around the house all day with nothing to do but read or play board games. It reminded me that sometimes I eat just because I am BORED, I found myself snacking all day long, not because I was really hungry but just because I had nothing…

Great meal! My whole family (and I have 5 kids) loved it!

This....I love Aldo, it's all good.

I like this idea!

Do you believe the calorie calculator on Chipotle's website? seems to me that a bowl has far more calories than they estimate.

I love Waffle House too! Eat there maybe 4 or 5 times per year. The last time I just enjoyed a really good meal (cheesy eggs, country ham (killed my sodium), and hashbrowns), came in at about 1000 cals. The rest of the day I stayed under 600 cals to come in under 1600 and did some extra walking. It was a good day!
