Can't Sleep...anyone else?
I lost over 100 lbs. about a year and half ago, when going through the process I found myself only sleeping 4 or 5 hours a night, over the last few months I have gained about 40 lbs back, and I slept all night long. Now I am losing again, trying to get back to my goal weight and find myself looking at the clock for most of…

SEPTEMBER WEIGHT-POSTING CHALLENGE
This is really more of an experiment than a challenge. I have been struggling with my weight going up and down since about April. I am challenging myself to weigh every day, for me it will be first thing in the morning before any food or water, and to post it on this thread. I want to see if knowing that I will be posting…

AUGUST PUSH-UP CHALLENGE
My goal for the month of August is to 2500 push-ups during the month. Basically aiming for 100 per day and realizing I might miss a day here or there. Who will take the challenge with me? I plan to update my progress daily.

Help, if you've been here
My story, began in February 2015 at 330 lbs. with blood pressure and diabetic issues. Losing from 330 to about 200 lbs was, for lack of a better word, easy. I had no problems staying on my eating plan, avoiding restaurants, and keeping my workout schedule. Hit the 199 mark in April of 2016 and ever since then...oh boy. I…

330 lbs. to Onederland in just over a year! (with pictures)
February of 2015 I weighed 330 lbs and was diagnosed with diabetes (on top of high blood pressure that I had for years). I got serious, came to my senses, and sought God's strength through prayer. I began a process of eating less, eating better, and moving more. In the last year I have now completed 3 5k runs (and run an…

***Warning*** Gross Topic
When I started out to get into better health I weighed about 330 to 340 lbs. At this weight and eating as I did I would go to the bathroom (#2) at least twice daily and sometimes more often. As I have cut my food intake, lost weight and become more healthy, I am now finding that I often go a day or two with any bowel…

What should my weekly goal be?
As of today I have lost 125 pounds (that seems unreal as I see it in type), I would like to lose 30 pounds more, but the loss is becoming slower and more difficult. What should my weekly loss goal look like at this point. FYI I workout at a moderate pace for 40 minutes per day for 6 days per week.

How do I log jumping rope?
I can't find any entry for it, they have all kinds of odd entries (playing guitar while sitting, billiards, etc), but no one jumps rope?

What?! How!?
Weighed on Dec 18 - 206.5 lb. Went to visit family in Texas for Christmas. Lots of bad choices, didn't log food, snacked on cookies, candy, ate out a lot, worked out less. Weighed today, Dec 30, was 227! I moved the scale and weighed 4 times, yep still 227, I knew I had gained but Holy Cow! I am back home now and getting…

Is this a phase or what?
Been on mfp since March 2015 and lost over 100 lb. I have done really well.... until the last week or so. I seem to have lost all control. I can't keep my spoon put of the peanut butter jar and I go through the fridge and clean out the leftovers, this had never been a problem before. Has anyone else experienced this? Any…

It's getting hard
As I lose more weight my calories keep going lower & lower... down to 1300 after my last weigh-in. I exercise 3 days/ week so I have more calories on those days. What advice do you have for the other days? Today I stole a page from the intermittent fasting book and skipped breakfast. Any other ideas?

Running vs Stairmaster
I have been running 3 times per week, but as it is getting colder I am considering transitioning to my Stairmaster (the only exercise equipment I own). Will this give me similar benefits, calories burned, fitness level, as the running?

Beating Diabetes
In February my A1C was at 8.7% - crazy high. The doctor helped me understand how dangerous this was and it was like the Lord flipped a switch in my brain. Yesterday, June 22, I visited my doctor and have lost a total of 75 lbs., my blood pressure is down, and my A1C? 5.2%! I am feeling so much better and better about…

Celebrating Weigh-in Day
Began this journey in October 2014 at 330 lbs. Today's weigh-in: 265 lbs. Still a long way to go, but I am thankful to God and good healthy foods for my progress so far! Also, started the journey on diabetes meds and now I am off meds and having great blood sugar readings. I am a 43 year old man who has struggled all my…

Eat lunch at Hospital cafeteria
I have been eating lunch at my local hospital cafeteria a lot lately (it is open to the public). As an example, today's lunch was a chicken breast franchese (whatever that means it tasted good), green beans oregano, and roasted zucchini. Total calories: 285 and it tasted great, and it was less than $5 for the meal. Check…

How many calories burned?
What is the most accurate site to calculate calories burned? I entered one hour push mowing and the number was huge, would love to believe it, but doubt it.
