Wait, I'm confused - according to the info you posted, milk chocolate has less fat than 85% chocolate (9g vs 13g).

I don't know how well researched the benefits you stated are, but it is an effective way for many to achieve a caloric deficit. You're less likely to overeat when you limit yourself to a smaller window.

This. Add some Taurine and that's my pre-workout stack to a T. Buying in bulk is so much cheaper (think $0.25-0.50 per serving instead of $1.00-$2.00) and you control the dosing. That said, if all you're looking for is to get "amped" or "hyped" for a workout, coffee and energy drink or anything with caffeine will do the…

If you have a salad with meat, croutons, cheese and thousand island dressing, it's essentially the same ingredients as a Big Mac. Adding a bunch of lettuce to the mix doesn't reduce the caloric content.

My entire family is on separate eating schedules, so I'm effectively meal prepping as a single person. In addition to the suggestions already provided, I use mason jars to prepare a weeks' worth of salad stuff - tomatoes, peppers, mushrooms, apples, berries, etc. Each night I put a bed of spinach in a bowl and then dump…

Thinly veiled and poorly produced attempt to promote an agenda. They probably did their cause more harm than good.

I'm currently on a cottage cheese kick over my normal greek yogurt because I'm trying to scale back the carbs. The key for me is to go 4% or 2% over fat free. It tastes so much better and doesn't add that many more calories. I'll add fruit like strawberries or blueberries or, if I'm low on protein, a scoop of whey.

If you're talking about floor lifts, any type of flat shoe will do - chucks, skateboard, minimalist, etc. Any other type of lifting, it really doesn't matter as much.

Sometimes I think my gym could use a lunk alarm when *kitten* drop the bar at the top of a deadlift...for reps.

The upper body portion of your training is exclusively shoulders. If you're truly looking for a full body workout, I'd keep the shoulder press and trade the rest out for movements like chest presses, rows and maybe some arm work (curls, cable pressdown).

My local Costco stops selling them as soon as it gets warm outside.

They taste great and have more balanced macros than, say, Hungry Jack. That said, I wouldn't spend a fortune on them. FYI - Amazon has them for a much lower price than what you'll find in a brick and mortar.

When I've had shoulder issues in the past, I found the hammer strength shoulder press a nice compromise.

I use Walden Farms pancake syrup and/or blueberry or strawberry syrup. I will frequently add fruit to the batter - strawberries, blueberries, banana. Good stuff.

Syntha-6 is awesome. Chocolate peanut butter is amazing. That said, I don't consider it to be a pure protein powder - only about 44% of the calories are from protein.

Whey protein can be a convenient and effective way to meet your macro goals. For me, Myprotein Impact Whey is the best combination of quality, taste and value.

I've found that instant coffee works as good as brewed coffee. Just toss it in with your protein powder and let it sit in the fridge for a few hours.

Restaurants are required to post calorie info now so it's easier to make good decisions. I tend to go with places that are most macro friendly for me - Chipotle, Panda Express, Panera...

Well, tigers love pepper. What more is there to say?

It depends. If you're significantly overweight, a caloric deficit is really the most important thing. If you're already thin, but trying to lose some visceral fat to achieve a cut/shredded look, some low carb days will help get you there.
-
Not necessarily. It's really just a convenient whey* to get my daily protein intake. * See what I did there?
-
Pre-workout - Chocolately whey with iced coffee Post workout - Usually a protein blend (currently Combat Powder) with banana and whatever other fruit is on hand (strawberries, blueberries) I also mix whey into oatmeal and greek yogurt.

Just curious - what will the standalone store offer that isn't already provided in Wal-Mart, Publix, Kroger, etc?

Yes, and she's also wearing a T-shirt with Trump and Putin playing tongue tag.

This thread went from amusing to confusing.

I use Walden Farms pancake syrup on Kodiak Cakes and it's great...just sweet enough and keeps the pancakes from tasting dry. I use the blueberry and strawberry syrup on greek yogurt (and sometimes pancakes)...really cuts through the bitterness. I use the caramel topping on ice cream/halo top.
