I make my own hummus and red pepper dip. It's easy and you can be sure it's fresh and without any preservatives.

Good advice you've been given. I also don't make cardio the focus of my exercise. I superset so that elevates my heart rate lifting weights and that's good enough for me. If I do cardio, it's a 5k jog or 1/2hour step mill at a moderate pace after my weights workout.

It's a personal thing and they don't make you gain weight, other than there's school of thought that the sugar substitutes stimulate appetite. I've never liked pop, so it's never been a vice of mine plus it's filled with chemical crap, that does things in your body that's not cool.

Definitely go by the package. One of two of them would probably more than exceed your sodium needs.

What is your goal? Weight loss or increasing muscle, which requires the increase in food?

The only thing I go higher on in my allowances is protein and I'll keep my carbs and sugars lower than required. Fat is usually close or bang on at the end of the day.

I had a big egg/veggie scramble last night before my run that was filling. In 1/2tbsp olive oil, threw in some garlic, onion, asparagus, spinach, celery, 1/2c wholegrain brown rice, 2 eggs and scrambled it all together.

It's good for teeth pulling too...not what it sounds. It's basically just gargling the melted oil and it helps with getting rid of the bacteria in your mouth. I do it in the morning before brushing my teeth. I make sure to spit it in the garbage though since it solidifies and I'm afraid of it plugging the drain. In the…

Hot yoga today. I work my entire body through the week so Saturday is a good stretch day.
