The girl who knows everyone. Everyone.

I like adding some hot sauce, buffalo sauce (I can get a huge bottle only 5 cal/tablespoon at the dollar store), or paprika. :'D

We need to know if they count that number as eating back a portion of their exercise calories. Example, Eat 1800, burn extra 300 for cardio, 1500 in post. Yadda yadda. And eating too little doesn't stall weight-loss anyway. See above.

I lost about the same when I first started losing weight (5'2", ~200lbs) - the amount of water weight on me was ridic. It did stable out immediately after that.
-
You can always ask them to take special care, too. Example, sauces on the side, switching out the carbs for veg, etc. Even at places with mostly not-so-good food, there will always be an option you can make a change with to be healthy. <3

Most of us commented on it, even stating that (depending) the quick loss may be water weight, that weight loss isn't linear, etc.

Plan small snacks through the day, but have your meals at a lower calorie than normal to compensate. I don't eat breakfast to compensate for my snacking during the later part of my shift at work. I'm never hungry until roughly noon, so it works for me. Medium-sized 'lunch', snacking through shift after (makes me happier on…

I recommend this video below on why logging in grams versus cups/teaspoons/etc is really important. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vjKPIcI51lU

I had to google it. Are you at all tracking calories?

There is no "eating too little" to not lose weight, or else those with anorexia wouldn't be underweight. How are you logging your food? Get a food scale, don't go by cups/etc. Also, weight loss isn't linear! Water weight, hormones, all kinds of stuff affects it. You had a good loss for the first three weeks, was likely a…

No problem! Remember, we've all been there! I'm actually down with my loss (roughly 100lbs down), but I stick around to help encourage, give advice, etc.
-
That isn't bad! :) That isn't much over. If this is over your recommended at weight loss, you are still leaving today in a deficit. If over maintenance, there is still time for a lil jog or walk.. If you have a gym membership, maybe hit the machines for 30min. Bam, can get back in the green, too!

I love me some coffee. There are some nice "Coldbrew" mixes out now-a-days. So far, my favorite are the 'Gevalia' brand ones. It is concentrated, so you add it to cold water. Suuuuper low cal and yummy! I dislike cream & milk in coffee (bad experience as a kid with what I thought was chocolate milk) so I drink it 'black',…

Have you tried those zero cal water flavorings? Mio, Kool-aid, off-brand ones, etc. Just be careful, some actually have caffeine! Nothing like your heart freaking out to make you realize you grabbed the Mio "Energy" instead of a regular one... Yummy, tho.

Girl, my weakness was mountain dew and/or juices. So much juice. A huge, giant jug of grape, cranberry, or apple juice. I thought it was good for you... Allll the way up until the ulcers hit and/or the heart palpitations began. /sad Remember, if you know the general calories, you can plan appropriately! If you know where…

Look for the healthy items on the menu. Just because you are going out doesn't mean you have to splurge. You can also request substitutions - veg instead of the carbs (make sure it isn't battered and/or drenched in oil), sauce on the side, etc. There are plenty of options in restaurants, you just have to make sure you look…

I'll give honest advice to OP after my other post, so it isn't all just us swarming on them. I know it sucks, OP. But you have to be patient... It is overall weightloss. When I was obese, all the way up until I was middle-healthy range for my height, I had the thick thighs (not even thicc). The chaf is real. I recommend…

I don't believe you meant your deficit is 2500, but that you are eating about 2500. What are your stats? Height/weight/age...? (And yes, I do agree with the above poster, you need more vitamins/nutrients, all kinds of stuff. Why no fruits/veg?)
-
That would still be spot reduction. Weight loss overall needs to be done.

(Some reference: "Let's do the fork in the garbage disposal! Let's do the fork in the garbage disposal!")

Switch out some of that rice for veg. The trade-off on volume versus calories is huge, and will fill you up more. Rice is easy and delicious, but can take up a good bit of calories if not careful. It is why that was the first bit I commented on for weighing. I know it is annoying, but thank you for trusting us and trying…

I more meant the weight assumption on the can versus the label's calorie information. The label is to be if all of the weight was beans.
-
Bingo! I'm actually done with my loss (for over a year), but stayed on the site for the community and to dole out advice. 100lbs down and staying strong. This man looks like he'd love a good motorcycle.

Even with ready meals, you have to be careful. Just as when something says '1 cup of broccoli is x calories', you need to measure (by gram) for caloric accuracy. Ready meal's calories are off, and enough of them an decimate the perceived deficit you thought you had.
-
You look ridiculously like one of my coworkers.
-
May I ask why the kids all have their own diets and can't have the same meals? Or you cannot plan to have meals that coordinate and work (mostly) with everyone? Part of pre-planning with a list for meals is so that you don't have to buy as much random items to plan per each person. Even if the main protein has to be…
-
Well, you can, but you aren't doing it on the premise of a 'wasted trip' if not.
-
If you walk, go with a list and stick to it! I only live two blocks from my main grocer, and actually live behind my secondary (Sprouts, y u so expensive). I still have this issue occasionally.
-
Go by the grams of the beans themselves. Ignore the 'servings' it says. It does suck that they seem to be underfilling the cans food-wise to that extent, but the liquid is included in their weight calculations. They go by the weight of the whole can itself, not just the beans. They do not say, "x beans, x water"... So…

I didn't even had the bod when in my teens, I was a chubster. I'm absolutely loving the looks, too.
