If you want a break from the chemical cleansers - try raw honey. You just wash your face with it like normal and it's actually very nice. I've noticed my face is much softer and when I get breakouts (only hormonal now) they go away faster. It's naturally antifungal and antiviral. It's also good as a spot treatment if you…

My shoes are practically brand new and are super comfortable - asics. And I've got no idea if they're the right kind but I was wearing shocks before and the problem was much more pronounced.

I've had some success with eating paleo - not sure if it was the sugar or dairy, but my skin has cleared up alot except for hormones, and washing my face with honey has done a lot of good too. (I know the honey is kinda nuts, but I swear it's actually very nice and luxurious).

I've been doing Intermittent fasting lately and I enjoy it. Mostly because it means I don't need to eat breakfast. The basic premise is that you have a "feeding window" in which you eat and the rest of the time you fast. Mine is usually about 10-6 and I fast from 6pm to 10am. It's supposed to help with weight loss. I can't…

I'll add you! And there was a group that was recently created called Paleo AIP that I just joined. It can be challenging on this site to find people that don't think eating crap is fine all the time as long as you are below your calories.

And laying out to get a tan or not wearing a shirt when exercising (just sports bra). That would be rad.

Being able to sew with the cool indie designer patterns and use less fabric doing it - and wearing cool trendy styles without being afraid of looking ridiculous in them because I am fat. Not to mention just more options in smaller sizes clothes-wise, and my thighs not rubbing together when I run.

the easiest way to cut out sodium is to cut out all processed foods. I sounds like I have stock in whole30 but I wholeheartedly recommend it for cutting a lot of crappy foods from your diet and start making them all from scratch. You'll find it difficult to get a lot of sodium.
-
Yeah 250g is a huge amount of carbs, I'd cut it down to even more. Low carb keto people go far below 100g.
-
I've found success with doing a whole30 to kick the sugar habit - it's a pretty strict thirty day anti-inflammation elimination diet, however, and not for everyone.

Calories in vs. calories out is the main thing, if you eat pasta - so be it. Since you're vegan, that's a little difficult. Personally, I don't think you should waste your calories on pasta - but if you're perfectly satiated with it and you're at a calorie deficit because your goal is to lose weight, then go right ahead!…

I've been researching keto and playing around with the idea of starting, how are ya'll liking it? I'm eating paleo right now, but it looks like I could do primal and keto at the same time so I'm thinking about it. Are you all doing low carb, high fat, moderate protein?

you can add me as well - I'm struggling to get to 10,000 but I'll try my best to keep up caracara92@aol.com

I'm in! I'm probably joining too many of these - but here we go! SW: 203 (7/5/16) GW: 183 (7/5/16) - the weight I was five years ago when I started college. I can do it!
-
I'm totally in! I would love to lose sixty pounds by January, but I would be happy with 40. I'm at 203 right now and I plan to get down to that weight by eating mostly paleo - my goal is really 150 but we'll see WHEN I get there. SW: 203 GW: 150

Spaghetti squash is the devil, but cauliflower rice is my new fave. Perfect for cauliflower fried rice or with any type of meat. It's not rice, it's much different - but in fried rice you can hardly tell the difference. I agree with the spiralizer fans, too. So fun and awesome.

I think I'm logging very accurately, but I am not going to go whole hog on the 100% knit picky logging. When I was in high school I logged obsessively and developed an eating disorder, so I'm very consciously not obsessively counting, while at the same time being very conscious about my food choices.

I'm on day 15 of my whole thirty (half way!) and I'm feeling pretty great. I was a little bummed that I wasn't getting the same results of my last one, just the initial drop in lbs from cutting out most carbs, so I added in IF and saw another quick drop. You're actually not supposed to weigh yourself during the thirty…

Hey, I have this too and it sure is a PITA. I haven't noticed a reduction when eating paleo, but I'll keep an eye on it. What I have found that greatly reduces my misery is this holistic shampoo…
