I loved a lot of my wedding songs, I spent a lot of time thinking about it! Walking up the aisle, I used "River flows in you" by Yiruma....YES, it was supposed to be in the Twilight movie, don't judge....it wasn't in the movie but when you google it, sometimes Twilight stuff comes up. I loved it, it is sooo pretty and…

Jealous! :) My birthday was two weeks ago and I didn't lose any that week....but I had two birthday dinners, a birthday breakfast and three birthday lunches that week! It's hard to tell people you don't want to go out when they want to take you out!!!....You should feel so good! Congrats on reaching 25lbs!!!

There's just not that many health benefits to sodium! And I mostly try to use less of it at my house because my husband got several (yes, SEVERAL) kidney stones a few years ago and his doctor told him to cut sodium because that was a major factor for why he was getting them. He hasn't had one since and won't let me add…

I usually use olive oil cooking spray, but when I use olive oil, I use very little so I don't log it. If I was using gobs of it, I would but I don't worry about it. I'm still losing weight...if I get to a point where I'm not losing weight, then I'll reconsider not logging it.

Wow, great job!!

I don't really miss much, I've been having things here and there that have fit into my calorie goal as long as I work out. But there are just two things that the calorie vs. quantity ratio just isn't worth it and I haven't had. Pizza and Oreos! I could eat enough that the calories wouldn't be absolutely crazy, but it…

Don't stress too much about going over by a little. Keep working at it and you'll get there. I started about a week before I really started. I would log for breakfast, lunch then get confused (or weak and eat something bad) for dinner and not log dinner. Then as I really started to log things, I was shocked about how many…

I used to run at around 6 -6:30 too but now it's dark out at that time....and I could definitely be up and running at that time or even earlier but it freaks me out to run in the dark. Maybe if I wasn't going by myself! I figure if I'm going to exercise before work, it'll be Zumba Wii or the 30 day shred...something at…

My goal is 1200 and it gets a lot easier....I usually do: breakfast: yogurt, oatmeal, multi grain cherrios, or bagel thin with light cream cheese...sometimes fruit too. AM snack: fruit Lunch: Sandwich (usually turkey on wheat, sometimes tuna or PB&J) with string cheese, babybel, fruit or a pickle. Sometimes a salad. PM…

It really depends...after going to live classes (60 minutes) I went to the Zumba calculator you can find online where you enter your weight, etc. and took the average calories burned between high intensity (600+) and medium intensity (575ish) and just logged 600 for every class. I just got my HRM last week and used it for…

I don't try to plan a cheat day and I don't have them often. The only times I've really gone over my calories is my birthday, and when I was on vacation and a work trip. It get's too hard to be good for those things! :) But usually anytime I know I'm going out for dinner or want to make something that's not quite so…

I usually don't work out in the morning but morning or night, I always eat after....I feel sick if I've eaten and then I go work out. And you could eat a small something for breakfast (oatmeal, yogurt, fruit) and then eat a mid morning snack.
-
Yay! I also started at 165 about two weeks before you....and just reached 149.5 a week or two ago...it's exciting! :) Great job!
-
Keep motivated! You can do it! I usually eat light for breakfast and have a mid morning snack because even if I eat heavier, I'm usually hungry again before lunch anyway. So for breakfast I have either a yogurt, oatmeal, cereal, or a bagel thin with light cream cheese. Then around 10:00, I have some fruit to last me until…

It sounds like there was something wrong with one of the scales. I only use one scale so it will never be confusing. 10lbs in a couple days doesn't sound healthy! 1lb is more like it...the most I've lost in a week is 2lbs. Keep at it, only use your scale at home and you'll see those pounds drop off!

Yeah people start to tell me no carbs and no sugary drinks (thank you, I know). I just keep telling them what I'm doing, and that it's working and it's nothing fancy except cutting calories and exercising! I also hate when people tell me that I don't need to lose one more pound. That's the worst for me...I KNOW they are…

I'm 27 (my birthday was last week, that's the first time I've written 27! bleh! Where does time go!) and 4' 11 1/2" but I usually just round up to 5' :). I started at 165 three months ago and now I'm 149.5. My goal is 115! Getting there slowly but I'm getting there!
-
I don't necessarily think people are scared of success....I think it's hard to get motivated, hard to change your ways even though you know it will result in something good. It's easier to keep doing what you're doing, I think most people are stressed about life issues in general, and having to invest time into something…

Yes, yes, and yes. MFP is so much simpler and the database is much bigger, you can find anything on here. Some fruits and veggies are high in calories so the fact that WW makes them free can add a lot of calories to your day that you didn't realize. And it's free. This is just as easy, you will lose those last 10 pounds!
-
Also, I just want to add that I'm not judging...and I think that's excellent that you were able to quit your other addictions. I just want people to know how extremelyyyyyy important it is to stop smoking sooner rather than later. Good luck to you!
-
Just because you eat right and workout, does not make you healthy if you are smoking. Smoking is KILLING you, quite literally and very slowly....and nothing about that is healthy. Cancer is not the only health issue that smoking causes.....it causes a large amount of other health problems. You should consider quitting…

I spend between $400 - $500 every month on my husband and I.

I will continue to log after I reach my goal weight. Using weight watchers before, I've lost weight and gained it all back. I refuse to let that happen again. And I would love to motivate others....it's made such a difference for me having people motivate me.
-
I'm 4' 11 1/2" so I just enter 5 feet on here....for weight loss it suggested 1200 a day...I'm not sure what my maintenance would be. My goal is to be 115. It's been working for me so far, I'm losing at a steady (not fast) pace. And I don't feel deprived with only 1200 calories.
-
When I got on the scale and I was in the 160's! Six years ago I weighed 110....I'd never seen the 160's and it terrified me and made me incredibly sad! Thankfully it was enough to kick me in the butt.
-
This is also my second time...I did weight watchers two years ago and gained back the weight I lost....decided to do MFP this time around....it's been about 10 weeks now. I always appreciate more friends...you will be great this time!!
-
Would love to add more friends, especially ones that like talking! :)

I track it only because I know I need to drink more water and sometimes struggle reaching the 8 glasses a day. Not because I'm drinking other things, or because I dislike water but I only drink when I'm thirsty, which apparently isn't that often. So I track it because I'm trying to reach that goal of drinking at least 8…

I've just recently started going to whole foods on a regular basis for fruits/veggies and meat. The produce lasts so much longer than when I buy it from the other stores. My usual list for whole foods is fruits, veggies, chicken sausage (since my regular store doesn't have it), organic pasta, and cheese. And some days when…
