Try eating fewer of your exercise calories back - calories burned are often overestimated...
-
Was going to say the same... My husband actually does love mine... :)
-
Maybe try solid food for breakfast- I'd be dizzy with a smoothie for breakfast, regardless of the calories in it... Eggs, toast, some fresh fruit...
-
So funny- I've had those dreams, too - I'm at a huge buffet table that's piled high, and I'm just going to town on it! Never do feel any guilt about it, though...

I love fruit, but I eat a little less than I did before counting calories... I tend to eat more vegetables than fruit now...
-
Loooove sushi- have it at least a few times a month, but it always fits into my calories, so... Not a cheat...
-
Love this! Would love to see the reaction... Will have to try that one out when "No, thanks" doesn't seem to suffice.
-
I'd say up your carbs a bit- I find that I personally do best and feel energetic when I cut down on refined/grain carbs, but keep the veg/fruit/dairy carbs - I have a banana almost every day. Just my thoughts... You have to find the right balance for you.

Make hard boiled eggs the night before... Eat plain or cut in half on a piece of toast...

~5'3.5", large frame, goal is top of healthy BMI range- 140-145...

Salad dressing is my only "condiment" these days & I definitely measure carefully and count it!

Depends on whether your logging is accurate, whether 1200 is an appropriate goal for your stats in the first place, what your diet consists of, what you're doing for exercise and its duration... So... No idea, really, whether it would be healthy or not - not enough info to make that call.

I walk... Play with incline - I up the incline by 1 at set intervals, until I get to the max, then walk at highest incline for as long as possible, then make my way back down at intervals. Then, if wanting to go longer, do it again, or increase a bit and up speed. I love running, but don't want to overdo it on my joints…

Wow... So, if you examine that statement (your mom's) and what she said about calorie counting, well, you begin to see who actually has the disordered thinking... Since you didn't post your weight, I have no idea whether or not you actually need to lose, but if you do, calorie counting is the absolute best and most…

Sushi is totally up there!!! Just had Chipotle today- what??? 775 calories for a salad?? I ate 1/2 and took home the rest for another meal (small victory, since the old me would have gotten and finished a burrito!). Yummy...
-
Ok - so technically more than one food, but I love love love my "Greek" eggs (scrambled eggs w/spinach, feta, and olives) and plan to eat them not only throughout my weight loss journey, but FOREVER!!!
-
I'm so jealous- I love Spain! Have a great time, do lots of walking, and do what you can with food - choose healthy things when you can, and watch portions (but enjoy it, too)!

I did start younger- again, and again, and again- since I was 15 with a few extra pounds, until this time at 44 and pretty much as many extra pounds as years. Each time gets harder and with more to lose. Time for me to learn how to maintain when I get to my goal this time. I think I'm finally ready...

Wait, I can lose 5 lbs a week on that "captive in chains" program??? Where do I sign up?!
-
Any white booze with soda water/seltzer and squeeze of lemon/lime...
-
Love Pandora free... Lots of options, depending on what workout music you like...
-
Sounds like my kind of weekend! :)

I don't weigh anything and have had success so far (1-2lbs/week), but I'm only 10 pounds in to a 45lb weight loss journey. I may need to start weighing in the future, as I get closer to my goal, but for now, my estimations (and margin left for error) are working.

Yes! Even walking!

Thanks for asking this! I always have ~12" difference between my hips and waist (whether 46 & 34 or 40 & 28), and rarely find pants that don't have a ridiculous gap at the back of the waist, so this is helpful!

Another vote for: FAT!!!!! I have that issue when I don't get enough... I cook w/olive oil, but any one should do... And keep up w/water & lots of veggies/fruit!

15 minute miles = 4 mph

2 eggs w/ veggies and cheese for breakfast (black coffee) Greek yogurt (100 cal) for lunch Banana for snack Veggies and protein combo for dinner (e.g., a really big salad w/grilled chicken and some feta or other cheese)

Unfortunately, weight loss does slow a bit after the initial dramatic losses... Another thing- have you adjusted your calorie allotment after losing the 23 lbs? Though, as the other posters said, 3-4lbs a month is still great.
