This happens to me all the time.....Sometimes I think I may not be eating enough.....I don't track at all right now...

Yes...I read about it somewhere and I don't really like green olives, but I love black olives and I love blue cheese.....so I think that's a winner combo for me! :)

I really want to try some blue cheese stuffed black olives.....Have the blue cheese....Just need to get me some olives some day.

When I first started keto my breath smelled funny....like acetone.....my husband could tell. Either it went away or he has gotten used to it...LOL

Was eating under 20 grams total carbs for my seizures, but after awhile I stopped tracking, but still eating the same way I always did so know my carbs are no higher than 30 grams total carbs per day.

Starting late...Whoops. But this is still a good challenge for me. Needing to tighten up my diet. Too much carb creep lately and my body is feeling it tremendously. Why do I need to feel this way to remember what this diet does for my health? Hmmm....Well I remember now and doing better this week.

I'm sure you've already had your birthdays by now, but another idea that we did for my daughter was dark chocolate covered strawberries.....They were a really good treat!

I don't mind weighing....Just keep forgetting to pick up the psyllium husk powder. May just have to break down and order it on Amazon...Then I'd have it in 2 days! LOL

I wonder if it would be possible to develop a bread recipe that used a sourdough starter that was still low carb, but tasted a little more like real sourdough? Hmmm....

I second magnesium advice......It greatly helped me in numerous ways......I'm getting to the point where I notice that too much fiber causes me digestive issues as well.

I wouldn't necessarily avoid using it. You might just have to cool your melted ingredients a little bit longer and then whip them together using a mixer.

Another member here recommended Green & Blacks once for it's creaminess and I've been hooked ever since I tried it. They have one that has Sea Salt added to it and it's yummy!

My brother-in-law had gout and high blood pressure and was able to get off his blood pressure medication and only has gout problems when he's a bad boy and eats things he knows he shouldn't. I saw that one yesterday when I was looking....I will have to try it.....I thought the part about hearing the hollow sound when you tap the bun sounded promising because it sounded like real bread characteristics!

Got an awesome photo book from our friends with pictures from all the time we spent together with them and their family.....Was so neat. A warm snuggly wrap from my daughter and my dad bought us a giant bag of meat! (Ribeyes, pork chops, pork loin...yummy!)

Did some cheating yesterday myself....and just for Christmas dinner.....Up a full 3 or 4 pounds in one day which I expected, but what I didn't expect was how bad my joints ache today......Not sure if it's the sugar or the wheat or both, but I think these have an effect on my joints for sure...... For me keto has been the only way of eating where I can maintain without having to track every single macro.....It has given me a freedom from food that I never thought I would be able to have. If I even start letting the carbs creep in I start getting the cravings and eating all the bad stuff again.

Lost 8.5 lbs the first week, and then weight per week dropped off to about 1 to 2 lbs per week once the initial water weight was gone.

@Barry7879 I was using the Ketonix for awhile since I was using the ketogenic diet for treatment of seizures and wanted to make sure I was maintaining a consistent level. However, I found that I could have different readings within minutes and wasn't sure it was actually accurate. Have you had that problem?

Agreed...never use corn flakes in mine......I also use regular potatoes not frozen hashbrowns.....
