Well, that is really the superficial reason. Thinking about it, it eating for was just a side effect of severe depression, not working, caring for a seriously sick family member and a video game addiction.

I'm just north of Seattle in Mill Creek. I'd be interested in some light activity, like easy walks. (I can't do the harder stuff quite yet.)

Pizza and ice cream and inactivity.

I can always use more friends. :-) I sent you a request.

My husband just bought me one. He said he was proud of all the hard work I've been doing to lose weight and wanted to help. :-D

Congratulations! You are an inspiration!. Thanks so much for sharing. :-)

Congratulation! You are an inspiration. Thanks for sharing your story.

Feel free to add me. I have over 100 to lose as well.

I track in both as well, though I prefer the mfp tracker better. I continue to use weight watchers because I get a lot out of the meetings.

I log everything that is over 5 calories. I am only about 5 or 6 weeks into the program, but I firmly believe that my logging everything is what is helping fuel my success.

Feel free to add me. I'm newish, but will be here for the long haul.

Thank you all for suggestions. :-) The link to the ways to tie shoes differently to get them to fit better was especially helpful. From the suggestions, I like the swimming and yoga best. Both are activities I used to enjoy when I was younger. But, since there is no way I'm putting on a bathing suit, even with a tshirt…

Eat which ever version satisfies you more. Personally, I really enjoy the weight watchers salted caramel ice cream bars when I want a treat. They are about 130 calories each. Yes, they are small, but they are packed with flavor, so one satisfies me. Everyone is different though. My husband enjoys them too, but one isn't…

Great job!

I also have 100+ pounds lose. Please feel free to add me.

Wow! That's an amazing job. You had to have worked incredibly hard. Do you have any tips to pass on?

I was that friend once ... that person who didn't know that a good friend was being abused by her husband. From the outside looking in, her life was perfect. Beautiful child, adoring husband, great job, perfect house. When she told me the truth about her life, I was GRATEFUL. Grateful that she trusted me enough to share…

Quilting, working on logic puzzles (those ones that form a picture if you correctly figure out which squares are empty and which are colored), video games and reading.

That is a terrific idea. Too often I eat something only to realize after the fact it was higher in cal than I would have wanted.

I am nearing the end of week two. (Weigh in is tomorrow.) I am really not sure how I did this week. Weeks two to three are always the hardest for me. This last week was really tough. Family in town so lots of eating out. I tried to preplan each meal out. And then as soon as the food was delivered I cut it in half and took…

Thanks for the words of encouragement. That's a good idea, setting mini goals. Though outdoor exercise activities aren't something I enjoy (not even when I was thin lol.) I've always been more of a museum, theater, sightseeing kind of gal. I'll have to think on what I want to do when I start getting thinner. Right now, I'm…

That was close to my starting weight too, a few days ago. I am glad to see this post. I could sure use some diet buddies. I thought I was alone on the huge amount I have to lose
