So the way my leader explained it - Under the old system points plus system - you had a daily budget of points, plus activity points you could earn, plus a weekly bank of 49 points. Under the new smart points system - you have a daily budget of points, plus activity points you can earn plus a weekly bank of points. The…

I use both and have had a lot of success (almost 100 pounds). I track religiously with MFP. I track on the weight watchers app as well, but only when I hit a tough point in my weight loss. For me, the double tracking helps me stay focused. I mainly use weight watchers for the weekly meetings and weigh in. I've found an…

I am a current member. I don't dislike the new program per se. I use Weight Watchers for the support group. I was lucky and found a fantastic leader. I use MFP to track my food each day. I only track on weight watchers about half the time because I don't care for their app. What I dislike about the new program was how it…

I love mine. While I'm not convinced it's accurate in terms of # of steps walked, floors climbed or calories burned, I use it religiously because it makes me aware of how inactive I am on days I don't work. It's that extra bit of motivation to get me to put my book down and get my big 'ole bum out for a walk.

Congratulations! You've so got this!

Hi, go ahead and add me if you like. I started out at over 300 pounds (have lost about 50 so far). I totally relate to wanting to do active things, but just not able to because your body doesn't cooperate.

Mine wasn't a single that's it moment. It was more a series of events over about 8 months. 1. I went on a cruise with 12 members of my family (never again, but that's a different story lol). Everything on the cruise was too small... chairs, the shower, the room. I had trouble walking around the ship. I had trouble walking…

Don't go for a fancy/special diet. Log every bite that goes in your mouth. Measure/weigh if you have the tools. If not, estimate for now. Be super honest with your logging. Make your diary private if it will help you be honest with yourself. Do this for awhile. Then, when you feel ready, start cutting down the portion size…
