Agree! It's true most ppl don't exercise enough. But most of the problem is calories in. I am at 160 calories burnt after going for a 40 minute walk. I can't imagine how much I would need to move to burn off a big gulp https://theconversation.com/big-sodas-tactics-to-confuse-science-and-protect-their-profits-45907

This is me exactly except I use happy scale for my daily weigh in

Thanks for the info. I will try and look at 5x5 and see if I can peruse a copy of new rules at the bookstore and see what is what

Great victory

This is me too. And I log in happy scale to watch for trends. As there are lots of daily fluctuations I would be sad if my once a week weigh in day was the day I was up! I almost always have a day where I am up 2lbs but I have a clearer picture of where I'm headed with the daily weigh in

Great job!

This is great!

I eat back most of my exercise calories. You should play with the numbers it's different for everyone. I am set up to lose 1lb a week and lose 1.2-1.5 on average so the calorie burns seem to work for me. But lots of ppl don't have that experience. My steps are tracked through my Fitbit so same type of deal as your phone app

I am astounded! Just wow! Truly an inspiration!

This is exactly what I would have said;)

My hubby referred to me as pipes today due to the definition in my arms:)

I have been having full fat yogurt in the little 100gram serving size. They are 120-140 calories and they are super delicious!

Daily and I track in my happy scale to watch for trends. If I weighed once a week it would be to depressing if my weigh in day hit at the same time as a weekly high.

I think it depends on how much weight to lose. I noticed it around 15lbs. Good friends started seeing it around 20, everyone else around 30. But I started at 217. Now I can see the difference 5lbs makes but I am also doing bodyweight workouts and lifting weights so my muscle definition is much better the more I lose. I'm…

Way to go!!

^^ your post was useful

I would suggest that it's easier to stick with a good diet and exercise if you start by making small changes and adding on. Trying a massive overhaul makes it a lot harder to stick with. Good luck!

I have a devinci hybrid I picked up last year at 220lbs. Currently 183, The frame is fine, but the seat yep, it is a little uncomfortable if we start out with a long ride when the bikes come out. Lol

Perhaps you should read this take on the "study" http://www.weightymatters.ca/2015/07/new-obesity-study-from-annals-of.html

I weigh daily and I use happy scale to watch for trends. It gives me a more accurate picture than doing it every Friday since if I had a specific day there would be times where I would have no loss or be up but then the next day it's gone.

I am hoping to be down another 10lbs in 10 weeks.

I have successfully lost 5-6lbs a month for 5.5 months. Am halfway to my goal. CICO no foods off limit. Moving more. I feel like this is totally sustainable. And am not feeling deprived
