Totally relate! Sometimes I find myself at the gym two times in one day, I'm out and about walking, doing situps watching TV... I love it!

Thanks everyone, I'm going to book an appointment with my doctor and relax the exercise a little :)

I disagree, I have had that many calories in 'junk' like two or three times this week due to being out and about at college. Otherwise I try to maintain a balanced diet and hit my macros.

I'm trying to lose roughly a pound a week, though I am losing 1.5 pounds a week recently. My goal is 1750 calories as a net. I think I do need to eat more, I am just somewhat worried about eating too much more..
-
@whatatime2befit I always try to eat back most calories and end up with like 200 exercise calories left which I think makes up for that margin of error..
-
@spatulamom I don't have that 'time of the month' at the moment due to being on birth control...but I will remember that when I am off it!
-
I always NET at least 1400 calories, usually closer to 1550/1600

I actually DON'T feel hungry most of the time and I lose about a pound a week! However, I have busy days and a lot of cardio workouts so I often struggle to eat ENOUGH to not put myself at a dangerous deficit! I usually get hungry about 3pm and have a little snack to curb cravings but otherwise, I don't think you need to…

My last rest day was Tuesday. I keep a net calorie intake of 1600-1700 most days, consuming around 2100 and burning 500 for example.

As of today, June 16th, I have cycled 150 miles in total and am 100 miles from my goal. I've been including more uphill and strenuous cycling into my routine and feeling good!
-
I did 30 minutes of spinning, 10 minutes of elliptical, 10 minutes of rowing and one hour walking for todays cardio! I also did a 40 minute upper body strength workout!
-
I'm 5'11.5 and aiming for around 145 pounds! I started at 210 and I'm currently 160ish and a size 10 (my body fat is quite low so I am smaller at heavier weights). I do a LOT of cardio too.
-
@Liftng4Lis yes, my activity level is lightly active and that's put me at a 1600 calorie net goal. So, on cardio days I eat around 2000-2100 and burn 500-700

YES 100%. I do try to keep my protein intake up but otherwise, who doesn't love a treat?!
-
I think I could!
-
I did 45 minutes of high intensity spinning and around half an hour of lifting weights! I also did a LOT of walking B)
-
I ADORE cycling! I'm 50lbs down and 100% happier from it :)
-
Checking in again! I've now got a total of 122 miles in the bag, after cycling a good 16 miles today and 23 miles the other! I feel pretty darn awesome :)
-
My goal for this month is to cycle 200 miles! So far I have managed 62 miles. Excited to join!
-
Great, thanks guys! :)
-
Nope, I am eating 2000 calories and netting ~ 1600! But I think I have my answer now  thanks all!

New muscles retain water! Hang in there for a couple of weeks, track your progress and see what happens! If nothing changes, make alterations to your diet and switch up your exercise.
-
@professionalHobbyist My maintenance is actually pretty high (2200 on a lightly active day) as I've always had a fast metabolism! I eat around 1500-1600 as a net because I burn roughly 300-400 calories a day through cardio! I've been losing weight steadily. I was just concerned that I may be harming my body and…
-
@nevereverend Thank you for the advice! I usually get 90-120g of protein in my diet at around 1900 calories, is that a good amount? I drink post workout shakes available from my gym which are pretty protein packed!
-
Caffeine all the way! Oops. Beach party or house party?

You look FANTASTIC!

I usually do 5-6 days of exercise ranging from a few hours to 30-60 minutes but honestly, I just listen to my body! I'm usually up and rearing to go, super excited and energised. If I'm not, or I'm seriously sore, or I'm ill etc, I take a day off. It's really whatever works for you.

Have you been eating enough of the right things? Sometimes little changes in the diet can seriously affect our stamina! How long have you been running for? It is possible you are over exerting yourself, especially as you say you've never been much of a runner. It's better to train slow and steady and build yourself up than…
