Not exactly, no. I'd estimate 22-24% but course that limited accuracy!

I've been lifting for around four months, probably about three properly. I have definitely noticed gains in my arms and back! Will stick at maintenance for a while and then bulk, thanks!

I, myself, suffered from severe anorexia nervosa for six years. Post recovery I ended up overweight. The way that I lost my excess weight was by counting calories but in a different way than I know others do it. For example, I try to hit my daily goal rather than staying below it. I eat every exercise calorie. I allow…

I didn't have my fitbit on me - I manually logged the workout on MFP :)

The treadmill I use is pretty spot on with calories burned. I'd recommend eating back a portion as you could be putting yourself into too large a deficit which isn't always beneficial. For complete accuracy I'd get a heart rate monitor.

My asthma that I have suffered with since I was about 3 years old has completely vanished! I have to wear a coat now as it can get pretty chilly! I bruise a lot more easily...especially on my arms! I LOVE exercise. It makes me feel fantastic and I look forward to it. Clothes shopping is a treat rather than a nightmare, I…

Feel free to add me! I'm in maintenance after losing 40 pounds and a very dedicated health and fitness advocate. I am willing to help always and offer motivation whenever needed!

Though actually, you stated that they are not food. Which is pretty moronic to be honest. No, they aren't pre workout food. But they are food.

So practice makes perfect, right? Great! I'll try out different things until I find what works for me.

Skittles are food, that is a ridiculous statement. Clearly not running fuel providing food, but food nonetheless.
-
Thanks guys - advice followed! Got myself a nice, comfortable and strong pair of shoes.

These provide so much entertainment

I'm 5'11.5 and was hospitalized at a BMI of 19.8 because my body fat had fallen so low I began to experience life threatening issues. I was so thin I had to wear children's clothes. Now my BMI is 21 and I look very slim, if I were to lose any more I'd be incredibly bony, especially around the shoulders.

Okay, definitely visiting my GP then!

After a long battle with anorexia nervosa, which was swiftly followed by binge eating and depression causing me to be overweight, I decided I was done. Done with the fad diets, starving myself, overworking myself, crying. I decided that fitness and health was my goal, and a lifestyle that I wanted. I have now engaged in no…

I had a thigh gap at 220lbs, 109lbs and continue to have one at 158, it really is just your bone structure. I know tiny, tiny women who have thighs that touch! I don't mind having it there, I'm neither pleased nor repulsed. I do think that aiming to change your bone structure is ridiculous though!

I adore the gym. The environment, the people, the classes, the motivation and a cheeky sauna after! My home is for Netflix and running.

Wholemeal bread, cheesestrings, fage 0% yoghurt, Quorn fillets and pieces, quest bars and eggs are foods I regularly consume and have a lot of variations of what you can make :)

I eat less than I burn. I walk a lot in my day and rarely take the car- which is lovely in this weather if you remember sunscreen! I also cycle a lot though you may need a sports bra for that if you've got a large bust. I increased my protein dramatically and it helped me feel satiated. I also didn't cut down a great deal,…

FANTASTIC way of putting it. You are too right that it is a lifetime endeavour. I've got a good seventy or even eighty years ahead of me to accomplish my goals. What is a year or so off compared to that time? Thank you for putting things into perspective!

Cereal :'( and potato!
-
Wow! Any idea why that happens?!
-
Great - thanks guys!

Yeah I do see your point! Its just that at home id likely eat prepackaged foods and such and I would always know what exactly I was eating in terms of ingredients! We are going all inclusive so breakfast etc is served in the hotel.

I ALWAYS fuel my fitness

Currently at 21.8 and aiming for 20.5 :)

I've done dieting without exercise and lost a hundred pounds doing so, but then gained back a good fifty of those as I still was very unfit and sedentary and then made some bad food choices. So, I do believe you can lose weight that way as long as you are prepared to continue doing so. When I lost weight that way I was…
