I get that and agree. Just was curious what common practice is. Because either I am doing twice as much as what I should be or you are doing half as much lol.

Not trying to be "un-supportive" here; but if your trying to make sure you only eat 1200 calories a day, then why aren't you logging your meals? Maybe I just don't understand, but that doesn't make much sense to me. Just seems like an easy check to make sure what your eating and keep an accurate log. I often use what I ate…

I completely understand this. Food isn't my go to as much as Pop/Soda (namely Coca Cola). I recently realized my addiction as well and if someone had decided Coca Cola was alcoholic, I would be a full blown alcohol in serious need of rehab. I have been "sober" for 103 days now. Feel free to add me :)

Trendweightis pretty cool. I'm not sure how much I buy into its averages since the trend is always above my weight for all 103 weigh ins. But I love the projected goal date feature which does seem to be relatively accurate based on the math.

I'll join you. I've lost 50 lbs so far in 103 days (3 months, 11 days) and I'd really love to lose another 50 lbs in the next 4 months. I actually have a goal of hitting 250 by 8/01 and 200 by 1/01/16, which would be 50 in 4 months there :) good luck!

Bed. Some of us get up at 4 am every week day lol. Now Saturday....that's a different story :)

I completely get this. It depends on each person, but personally, I love having outrageous expectations because it makes you push harder. You just have to be able to deal with it if you don't meet them (because you probably wont). These are my goals: 3-16-15 (SW): 320.8 lbs 4-16-15 (1G): 300 lbs => AW: 296.6 lbs 8-01-15…

if you count the biking as exercise, i.e. you track it. I would probably keep your activity level as sedentary. however, if you do not track it, like a salesman or teacher probably wouldn't track standing around or pacing, then I would up your activity level.

I usually do weighted lunges and maybe I've been doing them wrong, but I do 1 per leg. So its: right1, left1, right2, left2, right3, left3, etc....

Feel free to add me. 103 days, 50 lbs down. 110 to go.

Now there's dedication.

some apps are better than others. I had problems with the app that was originally on my phone so I found a different app.

I would generally agree with this. I'm over on sodium almost everyday and it doesn't seem to cause me problems. It partially depends how much you are over buy. But in general, I wouldn't worry too much about sodium.

71.8 here. Hoping to get there by New Years.

I would drink 8 to 12 cups of water a day. That's 64 to 96 oz. I do not count water from coffee, tea, and sugar-free water drinks though. Depending on your weight, I would not follow this. Well atleast not the first part. Pee is always a good indicator or how you are doing drinking. For my weight, the first part of this…

This is a big one for me. My Best Friend got engaged 2 weeks after I started dieting and I want to look good at his wedding. Furthermore, I HATE pictures. I HATE smiling in pictures because I see my double chin. I will be so excited to finally not have that problem.

Find a similar equivalent in the MFP exercise list or guestimate. Heart Rate Monitor won't really work in my opinion.

All these ***** aside fighting over multi-vitamins. If your diet isn't very healthy you should definitely grab some sort of standard multi-vita (IMO Walmart or your local grocery store is a fine place to look). I would generally suggest one for women. Also look at your end of the day nutrient numbers. If your low in an…

I tend to view it as not being accurate because that means you would have to eat similar foods with similar calories and similar exercises every day. It's a nice guide to let you know if your doing a good job. But it is simply an estimate stating that if the next 34 days were the same as today, you MIGHT weigh SAID amount.

Yea ... I think most of us probably have the goal of not dying. So very sage advice. That being said; if your not talking about not eating, then you'll have to be more specific on the limitation of your diet during the "fasting" period like kgeyser said

I ask out of curiosity. Are you suggesting that a problem could be that she doesn't eat back all of her exercise calories?

Like everyone said. It's not linear. I saw the fitbit post of the person maintaining. I thought I would show you mine as well since I am trying to lose. As you can see, I am regularly going down. But I occasionally go up and sometimes will go a week without the scale changing then lose like 5 lbs the next. And I eat well…

The big ones for me are walking / riding a bike. They are easy to do and great for burning calories.
