Thanks for continuing to do these challenges @baconslave! Main goals for November will be to eat on plan and to continue training for my half marathon on Thanksgiving. Toning up/clothes fitting better will be a bonus!

1. Food remains on point 2. 3 mile training run plus another 2 miles walked. Relaxing day spent working on my pile of library books!
-
What a day! 1. Food as logged. 2. 8 mile training run (not pretty at all!) plus took our guests to Mall of America today and logged another 9 miles wandering.
-
1. On point with food. 2. Running rest day but still walked almost 8 miles at work.
-
1. Back on track with my normal diet today. 2. 4 mile training run plus another 8 miles walked as a pretty busy day at work today! Rest day from running tomorrow.

Love the idea of no-nonsense November! 1. Definitely are under calories/carbs today as the parents of my daughter’s friend (he’s been staying with us since college went online in March) arrive tonight from Mexico for a week long visit. Feeling the nerves! 2. 5 mile training run plus another 7 miles walked at work.

Hope everyone had a great weekend! 10/24-25 1. Food great both days. Keeping busy helps. 2. No training run on Saturday, but walked 6 miles doing errands and cleaning the house. 4 mile training run on Sunday plus another 4 miles walking.
-
Friday! 1. Food as planned and logged. 2. 3 mile training run plus another 5 miles walked, mainly doing errands. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

1. Food on plan today. 2. 7 mile training run plus another 4 miles cleaning the house/running errands. We did a quick trip down to Richardson early August just to check the condition of her apartment, etc before the semester started and were stunned with how uncomfortable it was!

Honestly, don’t like the muggy (and it does get that way here during the summer-land of 10,000 lakes and all of that!). My youngest attends UTDallas (although has been home with us since March) and it’s pretty steamy down there! 1. Food pretty good today. Had a small bowl of almonds. Think I’m just craving the sodium. 2.…

And boy, did it ever snow today! Probably ended up with 8 inches of heavy, wet snow. Very difficult driving. Supposedly the earliest snowstorm on record. 1. Food remains on point. Treated myself to a Caribou (MN based coffee shop) coffee with cream after my run. 2. 4 mile training run plus another 7 miles walked at work. I…

1. Food good. Workmates took care of my remaining pecans! 2. 5 mile training run (while snowing!) plus another 8 miles walked as back to work. 5-8 inches of snow expected tomorrow!

Hope everyone’s weekend was good! 10/17 1. Excellent day with food! Busy running errands so no extra snacking. 2. Rest day for running but still walked 6 miles. 10/18 1. Food pretty good today, but some pecans were consumed. I’ll bring what’s left to work tomorrow in the hopes that others will finish them up. 2. 4 mile…

1. Food more under control today. It’s better if I stay busy... 2. 3 mile training run with my daughter and another 5.5 miles walked. Weekend to-do list keeps being added to, starting with raking massive amounts of leaves. Hope everyone has a great weekend!
-
Chilly day here in MN! 1. Food somewhat of a mess today. No work, so I snacked... 2. Completed my 6 mile training run plus another 3 miles walking while I cleaned and did laundry.
-
Definite north wind blowing in from Canada tonight! House is creaking and rattling and leaves swirling. Exciting leaf raking weekend coming up! 1. Food on point. 2. A running rest day, but I had work and managed to log just under 9 miles of walking. Tomorrow morning is my 6 mile run.
-
@Megan_smart... I love Richard Simmons! I was just telling my daughter about his tv show and videos and how kind, inclusive, and motivating he was! The month is moving along... 1. Food spot on. 2. 3 Mile training run plus another 7 miles walked at work. Rest day tomorrow before a 6 mile run on Thursday. Starting to feel…

1. Usual daily menu. Not too exciting, but it works! 2. Back to work today so walked around 7 miles in addition to my 4 mile training run. Temperatures set to drop into the 40’s in two days (and hovering in the low 30’s overnight). I’ll need to start giving my running gear some thought...

Pretty nice weekend! 1. My usual food with no deviations. 2. 3 mile training run plus another 6 miles walked. My youngest daughter ran with me this morning which was a treat!
-
1. Food was ok today, felt rather snacky and did eat pecans. No more in the house now so should help with the temptation. 2. Rest day today but still managed to walk 6 miles running errands and cleaning. Overall a really nice day and managed to make a good dent in a new book!
-
1. Dinner out with husband, so definitely over on calories, but good choices made. 2. 3 mile training run plus another 7.5 miles walked when shopping at Mall of America with my daughter. Rest day from running tomorrow!
-
1. Good food day which was helped by being busy. 2. 5 mile training run this morning and managed another 5 miles walking as I went into work for a few hours. The run was not pretty at all time wise, but got it done.
-
1. Stuck to my normal diet, so food good today. 2. A running rest day, but back to work today. Super busy catching up as had a vacation day yesterday and managed to log 9 miles of walking. While I’m so grateful that I still have a job at the library, it’s challenging with the county hiring freeze and being severely short…

1.Food just ok today. Took my eldest daughter to a post-op visit at Mayo and we had lunch (I usually fast until mid afternoon) so my calories are definitely over today. I did make good food choices so that’s a plus. 2. 3 mile training run and managed an additional 4 miles walking.

Rebel brand? If so, it’s really good! I like the cherry chip one. I’m also a big fan of the Enlightened chocolate peanut butter and marshmallow peanut butter.
-
Good day today! 1. Food on point. Although boring, it’s best if I just stick with the same menu. 2. 4 mile training run today plus an additional 7 miles walking as had work ( I work as a library aide and, unfortunately, those books don’t shelve themselves!).
-
Pretty good day today helped by beautiful sunny fall weather! 1. Food on goal today and, most importantly, nuts avoided. 2. Starting training for my half marathon. 3 miles ran this morning (slow, but got it done!) and another 4.5 miles walked running errands, etc.
-
A little late to the party, but I’m in! After 6 months of blah, stress, and poor food choices, it’s time to re-focus. 1. Return to the foods that work for me (I.e. no nuts!) 2. Challenge myself by training for a Thanksgiving day virtual half marathon. First day of the 8 week training starts tomorrow!

I find it easier to basically eat the same things as I’m not very creative! My main protein sources are eggs, salmon, cod, pork shoulder, pork tenderloin, beef tenderloin, chicken breast, and ground beef. I love cheeses, but try to limit it to 2 ounces per day. I’ll usually have a plain Yoplait YQ yogurt daily. When I…

Target only had the flavored kinds of YQ, Dannon brand has a flavored yogurt called Two Good which has 3g carbs per 5.3 ounce container, but I find it too sweet.
