I take a supplement called Source Micromax for the micronutrients. This is a blend of kelp and seaweeds. It does give some information on content for Iodine which is probably what you would find in most seaweeds. 100-199 ppm. http://www.4source.com/technical/additional_technical_information.shtml

I usually find that logging the food before I eat it can help me to think about whether I really want to eat that particular treat. Sometimes the answer is yes. I have found that a little bit of planning can get pretty much anything I want, although is smaller quantities, into my day. Trying to give up an particular thing…

I am at 16k steps for the day right now. Most days I end up somewhere between 17 and 20k. I get at least 15k of those at work. Occasionally I get off the buss early and walk the last mile home and with weather getting cool again I may even walk the whole 3 miles a few times before winter sets in.

This macro numbers are minimums not maximums. You need to at least reach the number it gives you. Going over them by a small number is unlikely to be a problem unless you have a health issue. I a routinely way over on sodium. The only issue I get from it is water weight masking my weight loss. Doesn't bother me much. The…

Enell is the best for keeping my (G) girls comfortably in place. The bra is so comfortable and give such amazing support that I don't wear any other kind.

PMDD made my life a living hell for a lot of years. At least you have a doctor who believes it is a real thing. Many people don't get that kind of support. I had to work it out on my own. Now I am nearly through menopause life is a lot better. Calling it Just PMS is kind of like calling a disabling migraine, just a…

Seems to me you are doing just fine. People who have WLS still frequently regain the weight and/or have serious complications and problems with nutrition. So personally I would just stick with what you are doing. Yes sure there is a chance you can regain weight. Many do. They do because they never actually made a permanant…

Soup is great for keeping calories down. You can make a lot of great soups that are low cal. You don't have to stick to just the one recipe. I make soup pretty frequently because it is just easy and makes enough to have more than one meal.

Veggies. Very easy. Steam, boil, roast, make a salad or eat raw. Toss in some herbs and spices. You got flavors. Pre-cook(oven roast or crock pot) some chicken breast, roast beef, pork, etc and keep them in the freezer for easy add microwaveable protein. Cooking really isn't very hard or even time consuming. With a little…

Sugar is sugar no matter what it's source is. For weight loss the only thing you need to worry about is calories. I look at the macro goals as minimums to be met. Going over them by a little is not a concern. Going over them by really huge margins might be a problem, moreso for some people than for others.

I find Kind Bars quite tasty and have not had any difficulty fitting one into my goals fairly regularly.

I make a huge pot of soup every weekend and portion it out into Twist-loc containers for grab n go lunches. I keep what I am not going to use in the next few days in the freezer. I use the recipe builder to enter the ingredients by weight but once it is cooked I use a one cup measuring cup to fill my containers. I make 1…

Yep. I have nothing I care to hide and very few things I won't eat.

I'm craving pizza this week so I will probably pick one up tomorrow night. Thin crust. Red sauce, mozzarella cheese. Spinach, artichoke, mushroom and bacon.

Some type of soup with loads of veggies and some nice bread on the side.

All of your substitutes are made out of the same thing as the thing you are substituting....Tortillas are tortillas whether they are chips, taco shells, or cut in strips. Why no0t just eat the thing you want to eat. In a measured portion that fits your goals. OP I agree with the others who say you can have veggies with…

Looks great! How did it work out calorie wise?

I don't allow MFP to count Fitbit steps into my daily exercise so no adjustments. I do keep an eye on my daily TDEE and got for a 500-1000 calorie deficit. Usually my MPF goal is almost exactly 1000 calories less than my TDEE for the day. Seems to be working pretty well for me that way. I get 15-2k steps most days and have…

Most people eat back about 50% of their exercise calories and have success. You should be eating at least some of them.

My Doctor told me to eat 1200 calories a day after I described to him what my daily activity was. My TDEE is between 3500 and 4000 most days. Sometimes doctors are idiots. Eat less than you burn. Be consistent and accurate about logging your food. Of course try to make the majority of your food choices healthy and eat lots…

My sensei has told me a few times that I am a whole other shape now. I don't find it that strange. Some people tell me I am getting skinny. I know that's not true because I am still very overweight. It doesn't bother me that people notice. I would be more bothered if nobody did.

Changing yourself also includes some changes in your associations. I know when I started making positive changes in my one life I lost a lot of friends because we just had nothing in common anymore. I even had a friend tell me she didn't like the new me. She isn't a friend anymore. This was before I started working on my…

About once a year. Mineo's. Both very expensive and very high calorie. But oh so gooey cheesey good. (they put the toppings under the cheese.) More often Tombstone stuffed crust meat lovers Take out favorite. Vocelli's build your own. Thin crust. Red sauce, mozzarella, spinach, mushroom, artichoke and sausage. I also admit…

People with Fitbits do this every day. They set their activity level to sedentary which makes their calorie goal the same as their BMR. Then they let fitbit track their daily burn based on steps. I tried it that way for a while. It didn't work for me. But if it works for you that's cool. :)

Enell. I am a G (Enell size 6) and my bra is not their largest size. A bit expensive but worth it. You can get them a bit cheaper on Ebay. Someone there sells seconds. They have minor imperfections but they look and wear just fine. The only thing is you don't get much choice on colors.

Are your fats confused too? I too am on a low crab diet. Crab is expensive.

I had a sandwich that was 800 calories today. It tased reasonable to me. :)

Snow peas are also real. Sugar peas are probably the same as snap peas since their full name is sugar snap peas. Yes there is a lot of variation in the database. Some people make inaccurate entries. Perhaps they are simply not ready to handle reality. It isn't too hard to find the one you want or just modify one so it has…

KFC is one of my weaknesses. I fit it into my plan regularly. Not easy but a go cup with tenders and potato wedges is usually enough to scratch that itch.
