I'm 5'2" and weigh 129 lbs at the moment. Trying to get down to 120.

feel free to add me as well. :)

I braise my lamb shoulder based on the puerco pibil recipe from Once Upon A Time in Mexico except that I use lamb shoulder instead of pork shoulder. It's essentially a variation of barbacoa as mentioned upthread. I freeze the leftovers, along with the remaining liquid so it stays juicy and the reheat it as needed. I've…

I like google sheets but it's too cumbersome to use for a smartphone. You can probably just use a regular checklist/to-do app, rather than one that's specifically for gym use. For instance, I have an app called Clear Todos on my iphone (not sure if it's available for android but I'm sure there are similar apps). I use it…

Regular ol' Yelp works.

What is it about braised meats that you don't like?

I like my fish pan-seared and then just make up a sauce to go with it. Here are a couple sauce that I like: Red Bell Pepper Sauce 1 large red bell pepper 1 shallot (or half a red onion) 1 sprig basil 1 clove garlic chicken broth salt and pepper hot sauce, optional Roast the red bell pepper whole or cut up the peppers then…

I usually just microwave it a few seconds at a time.

Got mine from Amazon url="http://www.amazon.com/Gourmet-Fries-Seasonings-Bottle-Vinegar/dp/B005SSM64W/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1440706563&sr=8-1&keywords=salt+vinegar+seasoning&pebp=1440706564654&perid=0NDR317QYXNYQK6X286R"]link here[/url but as mentioned upthread, you can get it from Buffalo Wild Wings. It's the main…

Another vote for the OXO. The readout is detachable so if you have a large plate on the weighing platform, you can take out the display to be able to read it.

I tend to cook more when I'm trying to eat healthy/healthier. It's when I get lazy and decide not to cook and just grab whatever is convenient that I tend to gain weight. I cook simple food that doesn't require a million ingredients or a million complicated steps to make it taste good.

Yup, whatever you use ground beef for, you can use ground turkey. I think turkey meatballs taste a lot better than beef meatballs. Ground turkey in marinara sauce is good too. It's great in stir fry.

nutritional yeast hot sauce (Salsa Amor brand) salt and vinegar seasoning furikake (Japanese seasoning usually added to white rice)

It was a bit slow but you need that to establish the characters. Overall, I loved it and can't wait for the next episode. The one thing that bothered me was how quickly Calvin turned. If I remember correctly, in original series, it would take them a couple days (maybe overnight).

Hi all. I'm Beth. None of the other teams interest and I never root for the zombies but the walkers are more fun to be a part of. Goals: 1. ride (bike) at least 30 miles per week. 2. stay within my net cals 5 days out of the week and not go above maintenance during the other days 3. increase reps or weights during weight…

A quick internet search shows that it's 7 calories for a 1 second spray. The source says that it's posted on Pam's website but I couldn't find it during my quick search. 7 calories sounds about right though.

Another vote for Victoria's Secrets. They are surprisingly supportive and extremely comfortable.

Swimming is my weakest sport but my goal is to be able to do a marathon by next year. Check out http://www.beginnertriathlete.com/. They have free training programs you can follow.

I should be in week 8 of p90x but I'm taking a short break to completely get over this strep throat. :(

Thanks for starting this thread. I've seen those mason jar posts on pinterest but I never really clicked on the links thinking that they're just another pretty way of presenting/bringing your lunch with you. Here's a link that talks about how to pack a mason jar salad…

Personally, I would log the full tbsp to give me a lot of room for error.

I've had mine since December and I love it. While the body fat isn't accurate, it's at least consistent so I can reasonably track the trend. I also use trendweight.com.

I've been trying to lose the last 5 lbs and try as I might, it's the alcohol that is really keeping me from doing that. I was able to lose the first 15 lbs while still drinking a moderate amount but I really need to buckle down to lose the last 5. Sending you a friend request right now.

I let my 2-year old work out along side me but when it comes to weights, I tell her to move further away so that I don't accidentally hit her. She copies all my movements and after about 10 minutes, she'll get bored and play with her toys.

Interesting. I did an image search as well. It looks like the one showing 230 calories is for 54 grams compared to the 80 calories for only 18 grams of bacon. Depending on the thickness of the cut of bacon, it's normally around 80 calories for 2 slices.

Here's the correct link in case anyone is interested. https://www.crazyguyonabike.com/doc/?o=tS&doc_id=15317&v=1iW I'm technically a beginner cyclist as I've only been back at it since January (used to be an avid cyclist back in my college days). They say that the most effective exercise is the one that you love doing.…

It depends. I usually just put in 2 tbsp of some generic teriyaki sauce entry, but if it's sweeter/thicker/greasier than normal, then I would another entry for 1 tbsp of sugar/butter/oil.
