Meghan we use those space bags when traveling and get sooooo much stuff in a suitcase! I'm fasting today but not really by choice. Just stuck in the middle of nowhere without food! Hoping to be back to civilization in a couple of hours.

Hello! Schools just let out for the summer and I am taking my family on a 5 day trip to kick off summer! Won't be fasting at all, but planning on an active trip. Have a great rest of the week, I'll be back and fasting next Wednesday!

I'm not sure if it's protein, because on my light day I only ate 93 grams. I actually feel like my body has reset and I'm just satisfied with less. Also I worked out the morning on my light day, which also helps! I love beans, need to stock up and start putting them in salad, great idea!

Today was my easiest light day so far since starting 5:2. Netted about 700 calories and not really feeling hungry this evening.

Happy Wednesday! I just looked up and its 3pm and I've only eaten about 500 calories, and it is not a fasting day! Yay! So I'm treating myself to a handful of M&Ms and some cheddar popcorn. Whoo Hooo!

Thanks! I realized I wasn't eating enough protein and so I made tuna salad and an egg for lunch, feeling much better and I think I will make it through the day now.

Hi Meghan, welcome back to reality! I'm ready for my vacation also, it's coming up in just 2 weeks!! Today I'll be having an early Mother's Day lunch with my mom and sister at FIGO Pasta. I'm not a big fan of pasta but I do enjoy Eggplant Parmesan! I hope everyone has a lovely weekend and a Happy Mothers Day tomorrow.

Ack! Today was a bust! 1300 calories on fasting day. However, at the least, I've gotten in good workouts and will grow some muscle.

Weight loss is really hard as we age, I've had to re-adjust mentally because I don't just drop pounds like I could in my 30s. Tomorrow and Thursday will be my light days. I managed to eat pizza today and cake yesterday and stay in a deficit for the week! I love 5:2! My light days will be tomorrow and Thursday.
