  • I am interested if it is not too late.
  • I have 21 Day fix and it kick started my healthy lifestyle change. I don't get to the workouts every day but am still having success. Whatever makes you healthier then that is what you should do.
  • Lots of veggies and protein. If you look you can find plenty of filling food with little calories. I also try to eat about 5-6 times a day so I am eating every couple of hours. This works for me because I work from home. Might be a little harder if you work outside the home.
  • The only thing that it helped me do was learn how much I was over eating in my portions. I was better off when I started paying attention to the CICO. If you think that it will work for you then great try it. I would suggest trying the CICO to see if that works. Log your food on here and be honest. You have all the tools…
  • I bought the program and tried it for awhile. I gave up on the containers and just do the exercises now. I stay within my calories for the day, 1353, and am doing just fine. I found that the 21 day fix was confusing and in some instances restrictive. I have had a lot more luck with the calories in versus calories out that…
  • I would love to join this challenge!
  • My mom is my worst critic to. No matter what I do or how much I lose she is constantly nagging me about my weight or the way I eat. She will say I eat too much and the next time tell me I am not eating enough. I try to just ignore it.
  • I have to agree with the other posters. I too suffer from migraines and used to get them quit often. I was on daily medication and also had breakthrough pain meds. It had gotten to the point where I had no other options but Botox. I had went through all the meds out there with very little relief. Long story short I finally…
  • @vicki I might have to try them after lunch. It was suggested to me before to take them at bedtime but I don't want to be up all night with a stomach ache and feeling nauseous.
  • I have to take my supplements on a full stomach or it is horrible for me the rest of the day.
  • Let yourself enjoy the day. You only turn 21 once. Try not to go overboard though. Go into the day with a positive attitude but know that you may have a little more work to do the following days. You can still have fun and not over indulge. Hope you have a good birthday!
  • Sounds like the kind of motivation I could use. Count me in. I am looking for a good challenge to start!
  • You are in the right place. This group is wonderful. Good luck on your journey. You can do it!
  • I have not seen those exact posts but I have seen where some people are flat out mean and rude when someone asks an innocent question. I try to stay off the main boards and stick to this group if I have a question. You guys are really helpful and supportive.
  • I also have fibro and find that the more I move the better I feel most days. I am constantly stretching throughout the day when things start to hurt. I have also cleaned up my diet, making healthier choices. Choosing fruit and veggies over sweets. Sometimes it feels like I am in this alone and no one understands what I go…
  • I agree with the above. I am typing on the keyboard all day. It will even out in the long run.
  • Hello Carolyn. I too know what you are going through. Between my hubby and I we have 4 kids, 2 teenage boys in HS and 2 preteen girls. The summer is his busiest season so he works a ton of hours everywhere and makes for busy weekends to get things done, plus the girls are in sports. I also live in Ohio. We can support each…
  • Mine seem to be crossing over. The only thing other than food that I log into MFP is non-step exercise. Also do you have your MFP set up to accept negatives? That might stop it from crossing over. You can friend me if you want to.
  • I also work from home and know the struggles. I try to plan ahead as much as I can and move whenever I can. Some days are going to be better than others but you have to try to be dedicated no matter what. Also know that a treat Evernote and then is fine. You have to reward yourself sometimes. Glad to hear your son is doing…
  • Hello I am also a mom of three. One teenage boy and 2 preteen girls. Could use some mom support as well. Sometimes that is what makes the difference!
  • I can always use some motivating friends! I can motivate as well.
  • Feel free to add me. I have been on here for about a month and a half and am open to motivating friends.
  • Mine are usually over 20 times a night, but I too have fibromyalgia and don't get a lot of restful sleep. I mainly look at how long I was restless versus how long I slept.
  • Satia you are an inspiration to so many. I have tried to believe that anything is possible with your own dedication and less medical intervention. Reading what you go through and have gone through truly makes me believe that is possible. Thank you for sharing. Keep up the good work.
  • I can sympathize with you as well. I struggle with the belief that I can do it. That is hard to get over. What has helped me is to log everything I eat and stay at a caloric deficit. I also try to get some kind of exercise in most days, even if it is just a walk. You have to believe in your self and know that you have a…
  • As a wife that has a family who is not watching what they eat I am the one that buys the treats for everyone else. It is all about deciding you are committed to your weight loss. It is all about will power. Yes it is tempting and sometimes it is ok to treat yourself. Like one person said if you can fit it into your…
  • I bought a zoodle but have not made anything with it yet. Not sure what to try first.
  • I agree that lunch looks great!
  • So this week I have not been able to get my exercises in due to crazy overtime at work and my husband is working 75 hours a week as well. I have stuck to the eating plan and think I will be ok. Hoping to restart the exercises on Saturday to make that my day 1 of round 2. All of the stories on here really do keep me…
  • I agree with @nancyn795. I log all my food and exercise in MFP. Makes things a lot simpler.
