Hi. You can add me as well. I'm just getting back to MFP after 2 years. I lost 60 lbs 3 years ago and put back 40 ever since I stopped tracking. I'm looking for accountability buddies.
-
I am also struggling with consistency. Praying for a breakthrough in this area.

Sugar free jello cup - 10 calories. A little fat free whip cream on top for another 10 calories.

Tracking my food is the only thing that has worked for me in all of these years. It's amazing!

I'm in!

Good info. Thanks!

You will be fine. For my first class I used my warm up weight for the entire class (I didn't add heavier weights when instructed). I actually did this my first few classes and then started adding weight very slowly. You are going to feel so good when the class is over. I'm excited for you!

You have to be extremely careful with calculating the calories for one bag. I find that popcorn nutrition labels can be really difficult to decipher for some reason. There are usually at least 2 servings in one bag. I've been sticking to the pop secret snack bags that are 100 calories per bag.

TITLE CORRECTION "Need advice on how to recover from bad days"
-
I had the same realization about three months ago. I put on about twenty pounds I lost a few years ago. I am amazed I got it off plus a few more this fast. You're motivated and determined so you'll kick but. Good luck and v always KEEP GOING no matter what.

I felt the same way but I had to take the pressure off of myself and celebrate the little victories. I didn't put restrictions on myself I just tried to make better choices when grocery shopping or eating out and eventually I started to see the impact of those choices so I kept it going. If you have a bad meal or a bad day…

You can definitely do it and are off to a great start! KEEP GOING

Hi! I'm Kris and I'm three months into my fitness journey. I'm glad I've found a group for the DMV on MFP.
-
very cool!
-
The only tip I have is to KEEP GOING!!!!!!!!
-
Wow thank you all so much for the great advice! This really helps a lot. I am definitely going to put this to good use immediately.
-
I suggest stepping up the exercise. Exercising at least twice a week where you can build up a pretty good sweat will help.
-
I am only three months in but I am starting to realize that as long as you keep going it will happen. Don't get discouraged because the scale is not moving. If you continue to eat clean and stay active the scale will catch up.

I am 30 days in on my fitness journey. I am three days in on the site and loving it so far. I've tried other sites but this one seems to be what works best for me.
